London is currently working on proposals for strikes by the Ukrainian military deep into Russian territory. This was stated by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Alexander Syrsky after a telephone conversation with the chief of the British Defense Staff Anthony Radakin. According to him, we are talking about attacks provided for by the so-called Zelensky victory plan.

Separately, we discussed the possibility of hitting enemy military facilities in operational and strategic depth. Currently, the British side is working on its proposals as part of the practical implementation of the "victory plan"

– said Syrsky.

Of all the countries of the collective West that refused to give Zelensky official permission to strike long-range missiles at targets deep in Russia, it was the United Kingdom that was the closest to this.

British officials have repeatedly advocated the need for such strikes, and only under pressure from Washington, which now does not need an escalation of conflicts in all parts of the world due to the tense domestic political situation, have so far refrained from issuing the appropriate "approval" to Kiev.

Despite this, as follows from the statement of the Commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, London, apparently, is not going to completely abandon this idea. There is a high probability that the AFU may receive the go-ahead to attack targets inside Russia on the very eve of the US elections or immediately after them. And before the vote in the States, we recall, there are a little less than three weeks left.

It is worth noting that Berlin is currently a categorical opponent of strikes deep into Russia, which not only refused to authorize such attacks, but also did not transfer its long-range Taurus missiles to Ukraine. However, there are forces in German political circles that support such an idea. In particular, the candidate for Chancellor of Germany Friedrich Merz spoke out for the need to supply Taurus missiles to Kiev the day before.

We add that, despite all the failures at the front, Kiev continues to insist on the need to escalate the conflict with Moscow, stating that only military force can force Russia to peace.
