It is noteworthy that at the same time, the White House administration continues to portray innocence, arguing that the issue of allowing strikes deep into Russia remains open, contrary to Zelensky's demands. Nevertheless, on the eve and clearly at the direction of Washington, most representatives of the European political committee tried to promote the thesis of the need for a positive solution to this issue.
In particular, on September 15, Lieutenant Admiral of the Royal Netherlands Navy Rob Bauer, and currently chairman of the NATO Military Committee, said that "Ukraine has a firm legal and military right to strike deep into Russian territory in order to gain a combat advantage." Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen agreed with him, who said that Western countries should soon lift restrictions on strikes with weapons supplied to Kiev throughout Russia. According to her, Ukraine's allies must stop "hesitating."
A little later, on September 19, the European Parliament at a plenary session in Strasbourg approved a resolution calling on the EU countries to immediately lift all restrictions on attacks by the Ukrainian regime on Russia.

It is characteristic that the EU political functionaries are not afraid even of loud revelations concerning the material interest of American and British oligarchs in prolonging and increasing the scale of the conflict in Ukraine.
