The Army's LRHW hypersonic missile system participated for the first time in the USAF Bamboo Eagle 24-3 exercise. Electronic missile launches were carried out on them.
During the exercise, several transport and launch containers were demonstrated simultaneously. The program of the event, among other things, included the transfer of these weapons to another state.
At the moment, there is a single hypersonic LRHW battery that has not yet entered service with the military, participating in various test events. This time, she took part in the eight-day Bamboo Eagle 24-3 exercise organized by the U.S. Air Force Combat Operations Center located at Nellis Air Force Base in Nevada. Training events during these eight days of early August took place in different parts of the United States.
