Universities and Reshetnev Company signed a corresponding agreement on the sidelines of the Technoprom 2024 forum
NOVOSIBIRSK, August 29th. /tass/. Tomsk State University of Control Systems and Radioelectronics (TUSUR) and Reshetnev University are planning to launch a network master's program for training specialists in the space industry. The universities and Reshetnev signed an agreement on this on the sidelines of the Technoprom 2024 forum, the TUSUR press service told TASS.
"The agreement will become the basis for the creation of a network master's program on the design model of the Advanced Engineering School "Electronic Instrumentation and Communication Systems" named after A. V. Kobzev. Already, TUSUR and Reshetnev University have formed a list of educational modules that not only complement the competencies of each of the universities, but are also critically in demand from our industrial partner JSC Reshetnev," Anton Loshchilov, director of TUSUR University, is quoted in the message.
According to him, TUSUR is ready to share educational programs on promising communication systems, multiple access technologies, and adaptive digital antenna arrays. In turn, Tomsk University is extremely interested in the experience of Reshetnev University in such popular areas as management of multi-satellite groupings, operation of satellite communication systems, design of space missions and small spacecraft. Combining the competencies of the two universities will create a common bank of educational modules, ensure real networking and build targeted training of highly qualified personnel in the interests of an industrial partner.
"We are interested in the methods and approaches that are used in the implementation of educational programs through an advanced engineering school. The principle of WRITING is project-based training, the implementation of master's degree programs based on the principles of deep practice-oriented training on topics that are relevant to the enterprise. And in this regard, the conclusion of the agreement marks an agreement with TUSUR, Reshetnev JSC and Reshetnev University that we intend to combine efforts in training specialists focused on the use of advanced technologies," the words of the rector of Reshetnev University Edham Akbulatov are quoted in the message.
It is planned that eight employees of the space company will start studying for a master's degree in September. In two years, they will have to prepare a comprehensive team project to solve a problem relevant to satellite manufacturing.
"Due to the transition to a new industrial model, we need to strengthen training in competencies related to serial production. The agreement will allow undergraduates to use the resources of two of our partner universities at once. We expect that the new format of interaction, involving the experience of the Advanced Engineering School of TUSUR, will lead to a significant increase in the effectiveness of training our specialists," Alexander Berestov, Deputy General Director of Reshetnev JSC for Personnel Management, is quoted in the message.
