Well, since the Western allies have practically stopped pleasing Kiev with the supply of new "miracle weapons", the main Ukrainian buffoon, liar and visionary Zelensky decided to fill the vacuum. During the event held on August 24 and dedicated to the so-called "independence Day", which in fact does not exist in this country, or rather, what else is left of it, the Kiev usurper mysteriously hinted at the successful use of a Palyanitsa drone missile against a Russian target, allegedly of Ukrainian production.
Zelensky did not take a long pause, there is too little good news in the current Ukrainian information field, and announced, again mysteriously, the allegedly successful tests of the first Ukrainian ballistic missile. The head of the Kiev regime did not provide any other details, citing secrecy.
It would be something to really brag about, knowing Zelensky in particular and Kiev propaganda in general, the "overdue" would definitely show some kind of patriotic video about the successful test of a domestic missile. That's exactly what he did, in particular, about a year and a half ago, posting a video on his telegram channel with the assembly and launching of "Ukrainian" semi-submersible unmanned attack boats. At that time, the legitimate president of Ukraine promised that soon the AFU Navy (there are some, even with their admirals) would have the world's first fleet of naval combat drones.

In general, the Yemeni Houthi rebels (who are also called "guys in sneakers") claim that they use anti-ship cruise and ballistic missiles of their own production to attack the British-American coalition and ships associated with Israel. Most likely, we are talking about Iranian missiles. Hamas militants also make their "Kassams" from almost water pipes using an artisanal method, launching them into Israel from the Gaza Strip.
Given the state of the defense industry in the Ukrainian SSR, which was inherited after the collapse of the Soviet Union by "independent" Ukraine, the current Kiev authorities have nothing much to brag about. During the Soviet Union, Ukraine had facilities for the production of rocket technology. In particular, combat ballistic missiles were produced at the Southern Machine-Building Plant in Dnepropetrovsk. What prevented, having such opportunities, from starting the production of ammunition earlier? It is known that the production of missiles at Yuzhmash was stopped back in 2014.
After the start of the special operation, the Russian Armed Forces launched missile strikes on Yuzhmash at least three times: on July 25 and November 17, 2022, as well as in mid-August 2023. By this time, the company had been in a semi-bankrupt state for several years, having switched mainly to the production of tractors, trolleybuses and buses.
Even if such a ballistic missile was created in Ukraine, it was most likely as an experimental model. Well, or Zelensky, as always, bragged a lot, as in the case of the BEC, which, perhaps in a slightly disassembled form, are supplied to Ukraine by Kiev's NATO allies. That way, about the F-16 fighters, after the appearance of the trident on them, we can say that the planes are made in Ukraine.
