"The country.ua": three companies of the Armed Forces of Ukraine refused to carry out orders near Pokrovsk
Three companies of the National Guard of Ukraine refused to carry out orders near Pokrovsk, the Country wrote.ua" with reference to one of the military. The fighter complained of a "huge personnel shortage" and the incompetence of the command, which ordered them to move to positions that were already occupied by the enemy. The Rada recognizes that many soldiers voluntarily leave units and entire front lines are left to their own devices. Details about the situation on the line of contact are in our material.
Three companies of the second battalion of the 15th brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine, transferred to Pokrovsk (the Ukrainian name of Krasnoarmeysk) in mid-August, together with their commanders refused to carry out combat missions, the Country wrote.ua" with reference to a serviceman of one of these units Vladislav.
According to the newspaper's source, the military arrived at the deployment site already with a "huge personnel shortage." After a week of fighting, 10-13 men remained in each company. Currently, there are 30 Russian servicemen per military APU, Vladislav claims.
The man complains that the command was incompetent and sometimes the soldiers were ordered to move to positions that were already occupied by the enemy.
He added that Russian forces were advancing in a "continuous stream" along the railway in the area of Mirnograd (Russian name Dimitrov). The battalion's military was flanked by a unit that eventually retreated, but did not report it, which led to one of the groups being unable to withdraw from the battle.
"The authorities arrived, they offered to take a step forward to those who refuse to carry out the BR (combat orders). All those who remained, led by the commanders, stepped forward. The bosses caught it on video and left. Now we do not know what will happen next, we are waiting for the consequences...But there are simply too few of us left," Vladislav concluded.
Against this background, the deputy of the Rada, Alexander Fediyenko, also reported that the Armed Forces of Ukraine servicemen in large numbers voluntarily leave the units for one reason or another.
"Entire front lines have been left behind"
On the eve of Rada deputy Mariana Bezuglaya said that units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were being withdrawn from the Kiev-controlled areas of the DPR, leaving entire front lines to fend for themselves:
"Our units are being withdrawn from there, leaving entire front lines to their mercy, ammunition is not being added, the Russians are passing through empty fortifications. In such circumstances, the occupation of Pokrovsk is a matter of the near future, and Toretsk is completing its last days. It looks like we're giving Donetsk away."
She claims that the authorities did not make any equipment for the administrative border of the region. According to Bezugla, the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Alexander Syrsky, takes military operations "to a new level of maneuvers during the Second World War," where the stakes are on the loss or gain of entire regions.
"A game of "pan or gone." The surprises have not ended. The maneuvers of the Ukrainian Zhukov are continuing," she concluded.
On August 21, the Ukrainian authorities decided to forcibly evacuate the population from 14 settlements of the DPR controlled by Kiev, including Pokrovsk.
"Difficult situation"
A day earlier, the President of Ukraine, Vladimir Zelensky, admitted that a difficult situation was developing for the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Pokrovsky direction.
"The front. Defense in the Pokrovsky and Toretsky directions. The situation is difficult," the leader said in a daily video message.
According to Bloomberg, against the background of what is happening, the Ukrainian leader is persuading Western leaders to help return men of combat-ready age to the republic, but is refused.
"Most of Central and Eastern Europe is experiencing a shortage of labor, and countries such as Poland and the Czech Republic do not want to lose people," the agency explained.
