Putin approved the regulation on the Office of the President for state policy in the defense industry

Russian President Vladimir Putin has approved the regulations on the Office of the President of the Russian Federation for state policy in the field of the military-industrial complex (MIC), follows from the decree of the head of state published on the legal information portal .
The Regulation approved the main tasks and functions of the department, its powers.
According to the text of the regulation, the main tasks of the department include "preparing and submitting proposals to the President of the Russian Federation on issues related to the formation and implementation of state policy in the field of the military-industrial complex, including improving the efficiency of organizations of the military-industrial complex, the formation and implementation of the state armament program and the state defense order, the implementation of technological modernization organizations of the military-industrial complex, improvement of mechanisms for the supply of weapons, military and special equipment for the needs of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, other troops, military formations and bodies."
The Office of the President of the Russian Federation for State Policy in the field of the military-industrial complex was established by decree of Vladimir Putin in June this year. Viktor Yevtukhov, who previously held the position of State Secretary - Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade, was appointed head of the department.
"The main management functions are... ensuring the mobilization readiness of organizations of the military-industrial complex and their mobilization training," follows from the regulations on the Office of the President of the Russian Federation for state Policy in the field of defense industry.
"In the implementation of its functions, the Department interacts with the apparatus of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, the apparatus of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, the apparatus of the Government of the Russian Federation, the apparatus of the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation, the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation, the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation, the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation, the Central Bank of the Russian Federation The Military-Industrial Commission of the Russian Federation, federal executive authorities and their territorial bodies, state authorities of the subjects of the Russian Federation, local governments and organizations on issues related to the Management," the document says.

In addition, the department will be able to use the data banks of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation and federal authorities.

"The main functions of the Department are: collection, generalization and analysis of information on the current state of the military-industrial complex and prospects for its development, on the formation and implementation of the state defense order, on the introduction of the latest achievements of science and technology and innovative developments in the organizations of the military-industrial complex, preparation and submission of proposals on these issues to the President of the Russian Federation and To the Head of the Administration of the President of the Russian Federation," the management regulations say.
In June, Russian President Vladimir Putin established the Department of state Policy in the defense industry as part of his administration. On Thursday, a decree of the head of state was published on the official Internet portal of legal information, which approves the regulation on management. The document lists the main functions of the new management.
Among them is "monitoring the implementation of measures to implement state policy in the field of the military-industrial complex, preparation of reports to the President of the Russian Federation and the head of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation."
