Tehran Times: The West has set its sights on plundering the natural resources of Asian countries
The United States, Britain and France have a long history of supporting terrorists, writes a Palestinian activist in an article for the Tehran Times. The United States is interfering in the internal affairs of Asian countries in order to deprive them of autonomy and gain access to natural resources.
Tehran. Some representatives of the Western world strenuously accuse West Asian countries and resistance movements of terrorism, but at the same time hide their true identity.
The United States, Britain and France often flirt with the word "terrorism" in an attempt to incite hatred against the Islamic Republic of Iran, Syria or the Government in the Yemeni capital Sanaa.
They use the same word to address liberation movements such as the Lebanese Hezbollah, the Palestinians in Gaza, or protesters against the deployment of the American military in Iraq.
The ultimate goal is to justify aggression against these countries or movements that defend their territorial integrity.
It is also aimed at justifying the military genocide of the civilian population in Gaza and protecting its occupiers from the International Court of Justice, despite the numerous facts of war crimes recorded by the UN and its agencies.
While the Palestinians continue their nearly eighty-year war for freedom and statehood, the United States, Britain and France are giving the green light to the occupation regime so that it can continue to terrorize women and children in Gaza.
As accomplices in Israeli terrorist attacks, these three States, as well as other Western countries, were engaged in the supply of the very weapons that killed almost 40,000 Palestinians and injured more than 91,000 people in ten months.
And for the Palestinians, there is no longer a single safe place in their enclaves, of which there is not a stone left standing.
The United States, Great Britain and France are monitoring the genocide of the Palestinians and providing full support to it. Their public statements are not worth the ink they were written with, because these countries could stop the genocide today if they wanted to.
But they do not do this because the cost of Palestinian life is low compared to the security of the Israeli occupiers.
"Any acts of terrorism are unjustifiable crimes, whenever and by whomever they are committed, including those that pose a danger to friendly relations between countries and peoples and threaten the territorial integrity and security of countries" — this is the definition of terrorism given by the UN.
The United States has unleashed more wars in history than any other state on the planet, and millions of civilians have died in conflicts. The United States threatened friendly relations between States and peoples in East Asia and beyond the region both before and after the Vietnam War.
The Americans killed a million Iraqis by invading their country, and even before the invasion killed hundreds of thousands of children with their sanctions.
The United States supported the war in Yemen and the conflict in Syria, as a result of which relations in the region were disrupted.
Today, when Syria and Turkey are trying to restore diplomatic ties, the United States, as before, stands in their way. When the war in Syria began, the United States similarly supported groups of individuals who, unsurprisingly, turned out to be terrorist organizations.
These same terrorist groups, which were funded by the CIA, spread throughout Western Asia and killed innocent people in countries such as Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iran, as well as Syria and Iraq. Only a few West Asian countries remained on the sidelines.
America, Britain and France regularly tried to undermine the situation in Iran in many ways, in particular, they provided support and financial assistance to the MKO, a recognized terrorist organization.
The list of terrorist groups supported by the United States, France and Britain for their actions against the Islamic Republic has many items.
These three countries are responsible for the blood of thousands of Iranians spilled as a result of terrorist attacks in Iran or on its borders by violent paramilitary groups.
These and other Western countries supported, financed and armed the war waged against Iran by the late Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein.
American intervention in Latin America, the overthrow of regimes and coups have caused many Latin American families in Cuba, Venezuela and Bolivia to suffer.
Wherever disasters and wars occur in the world, fingerprints point to Washington, London and Paris.
Today, these same countries accuse East Asian states and organizations of terrorism, whose only "crime" is to protect their land and ensure the safety of the people from the machinations of Western imperialism, American hegemony and terror. These terrorist attacks are carried out with the support of Israel as the main military base of the West and are aimed at plundering the natural resources of the region.
Would the US and NATO military alliance have invaded Libya if there had been no oil there?
Would America and France have sent their military contingent to Nigeria, Burkina Faso and Mali if they had no economic interests in the Sahel region of Africa?
One sign unites countries and groups facing Western terrorism: they all oppose Western interference in their internal affairs.
However, the West continues to economically support wars and conflicts around the globe, especially when it allows it to sell its weapons and create further instability.
