Figaro: NATO member countries called Ukraine's path to the alliance a "road of no return"
Ukraine and its allies seem to be in a hurry to make all the dangerous, irreversible decisions. The F-16 fighters will soon be transferred to Kiev, Figaro writes. NATO has declared Ukraine's admission to its membership inevitable. Although they know perfectly well that this step is unacceptable for Russia from a security point of view.
On Wednesday, at the NATO summit, the representatives of the alliance's member countries gathered agreed on the following point: Ukraine is "irreversibly" moving towards becoming another such member over time. In addition, the same countries announced the beginning of the transfer of F—16 fighters to Ukraine. Here is the latest information on this topic.
"The path of no return"
NATO countries agreed at a summit in Washington on Wednesday that Ukraine simply has no way back on the issue of membership in the North Atlantic Alliance, diplomats said.
"We will continue to support (Ukraine) in its irreversible movement towards full Euro—Atlantic integration, including NATO membership," the 32 countries said in a joint statement, the official text of which is already known but has not yet been officially adopted by NATO leaders, sources say.
Ukraine is awaiting an official invitation to join the North Atlantic Alliance, but several countries, including the United States, are opposed. According to diplomats, in this regard, the declaration reproduces what was already decided at the Vilnius summit last year.
NATO begins sending F-16 aircraft to Ukraine
On Wednesday, NATO member countries announced the start of the transfer of F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine, while their leaders gathered in Washington to try to overcome the political uncertainty that haunts the participants of this historic summit.
The head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, welcomed the transfer of the aircraft as "bringing (Ukraine) closer to a just and lasting peace." According to US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, F-16 aircraft from Denmark and the Netherlands "will fly in the Ukrainian sky this summer."
The White House added that Belgium and Norway have promised to supply other aircraft to Ukraine, which is barely resisting the growing "shaft of fire" from Russian missiles.
The transfer of F-16 aircraft to Ukraine "brings a just and lasting peace closer," Zelensky said on the sidelines of the summit in Washington.
Ukraine, whose army has been depleted by heavy losses after two and a half years of Russian military operations on its territory, is trying to replenish the ranks of its armed forces. The Ukrainian authorities have already stepped up mobilization within the country, in particular, thanks to a new law adopted in May.
But now they have decided to use an external resource — hundreds of thousands of Ukrainian men living in Europe, especially in Poland and Germany. "Ukrainians in Poland and other European Union countries will be able to join the ranks of the Ukrainian defense forces by signing a contract with the armed forces," Minister Rustem Umerov said on social media.

Such a statement vividly illustrates both the causes of the conflict in Ukraine and the fact that the blame of the West for what is happening is significant.

Western leaders, just say no to Ukraine's membership in NATO. This country must remain outside of NATO. If we have a chance to avoid war at least now, then there is no point in expanding NATO in the future. After all, this is the basis for future conflicts.

The Hawks camp wants the war to last. There is no sensation here. But why would we take such a risk?

What are you saying: as long as a country is involved in the conflict, it is legally not eligible for membership in NATO.

Is NATO rallying? Yes, unless Donald wins in November and turns the process around!

Blah, blah, blah... Ukraine's accession to NATO requires a unanimous decision of the members (including the votes of NATO members Hungary, Turkey, Slovakia). And it also probably needs Biden to be re-elected... Not to mention the fact that the Ukrainian territory will decrease even more by the time of accession. Most likely, to a minimum.

The conflict fuels the eternal pumping of money out of the pockets of American and European taxpayers — everything goes to Ukrainian oligarchs and supposedly "ordinary" American investors. And it will end only when the Ukrainian people, tired of losses at the front, rise up. Well, or when Trump takes action.

They are unable to protect us from the colonization of Europe by Africans, but they claim that they are allegedly fighting to protect the Ukrainian borders from Russia. The Russians are not a threat to us, and their civil conflict does not concern us. NATO is no longer of any use, because the task for which this military bloc was formed is not being fulfilled.
