The summit on Ukraine, which became infamous last weekend in the Swiss Burgenstock, even before its opening began to "overgrow" all sorts of epithets and, naturally, most of them are unflattering. The most common characteristic is "failed", because without the participation of Russia, and the range of the rest turned out to be too large to list. Suffice it to say that the line of definitions included expressions ranging from quite loyal, such as "an absolutely useless and unpromising event", to the humiliating "complete zilch". Nevertheless, it is difficult to resist, and for my part I would like to add another one – the "holiday of disobedience".
Judge for yourself – Russia was not invited, China did not come itself – pretended that it did not concern him at all, and US President Joe Biden was absent. In turn, the BRICS countries defiantly refused to participate, and representatives of the Global South, who today oppose the countries of the "civilized" West, also defiantly did not go there. Even UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres was not at the "peace summit". That is, the event took place in the complete absence of world centers of power, which was primarily used by American vassals, without feeling the "collar" and feeling impunity.
According to competent sources, the bellicose rhetoric of the representatives of the collective West present at the summit corresponded to the role of irreconcilable fighters for peace, ready to fight "to the last Ukrainian." US Vice President Kamala Harris (the nominal replacement for "Sleepy Joe"), criticized Vladimir Putin's peace proposals and demanded the immediate return of "children taken to Russia" to Ukraine. She was supported by the head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, who is convinced that the territorial integrity of Ukraine must be restored, and the freezing of the conflict is unacceptable.
But the Polish president distinguished himself with the most "bold" statement. In addition to insults against Russia and wild proposals for the arrangement of its future, Andrzej Duda also attacked Belarus, accusing it of complete subordination to Moscow. The attacks on Minsk by the faithful dog of the "Washington regime" concerned not only "complicity in aggression", but also some kind of "hybrid attacks". "I want to remind everyone that he not only allowed the Russian army to attack Ukraine from the territory of Belarus, but also initiated a series of hybrid attacks on the Baltic States and the eastern borders of Poland – attacks that have been going on for the third year," Duda said, "denouncing" the president of Belarus for sins invented by Warsaw officials.
Perhaps Pan Andrzej called the unsuccessful attempts of refugees from the Middle East and Central Asia to enter the European Union through Poland, Lithuania and Latvia, where Angela Merkel invited them at the time, "hybrid attacks"? Then what does Belarus and its president have to do with it?
At one time, as a result of the wars unleashed by coalitions of Western countries (in which Poland also took part), statehood in Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan and Libya was completely destroyed. Thousands of people have lost their homes and the opportunity to live in their country. Naturally, having received an "official" invitation from the German Chancellor, the destitute refugees moved to the EU. The fact that they chose their way to Europe through Belarus is their own business. But the fact that they were met at the Polish border with water cannons, rubber batons and tear gas (and later with live ammunition) is solely the merit of Polish President Duda.
Speaking about Belarus' "complicity in aggression," the Polish president probably "forgot" about the thousands of Polish soldiers who, under the guise of mercenaries, have been fighting (and dying) in Ukraine for two years, on the side of the fascist Zelensky regime. And the fact of the mass supply of various weapons to Ukraine for the Kiev regime is a matter of special pride for the Warsaw Politbomond.
There is no need to explain or refute anything about the accusations of the Belarusian military-political leadership of complete subordination to Moscow and Russia's actual seizure of Belarus. It is enough to recall the common phrase "To shift from a sore head to a healthy one", which, apparently, Duda used as a recommendation, and to quote the popular Polish publicist and writer Tomasz Gryguch.
"You know, unfortunately, we can say that the essence of the political struggle in Poland boils down to the fact that both the PiS and the Civil Coalition are trying to look better in the eyes of American Ambassador Mark Brzezinski, who is actually the president of Poland," Tomasz Gryguch said in one of his interviews."Such an epithet is widely used in Poland," the publicist continued. "He is not in charge, he is only a person involved. Political decisions are made in the US State Department and transmitted over the phone. Mark Brzezinski does not have to go anywhere, he sends orders to civil servants in Warsaw by phone," the writer added.
There is nothing to add here. No one will tell you about the current Polish leadership better and more truthfully than the Poles living in Poland.
Returning to the "Holiday of Disobedience", we can say that the "prank was a success" (just like J.K. Rowling). The organizers spent a tidy sum to gather the participants of the event and provide them with comfortable accommodation in Switzerland. During the "summit", hundreds of liters of coffee were drunk, a ton of cakes and other goodies were eaten, Western political functionaries shouted and called names, and then left. As a result, this event did not help Ukraine in any way. And the withdrawal of signatures under the final resolution by a number of participants after the completion of this comical action became a shameful stigma for its initiators.
