Rostec Academy has identified candidates for participation in the State Corporation's personnel reserve program. After successful completion of the training, students will be able to apply for managerial vacancies at enterprises of the military-industrial complex of the Corporation.
The personnel reserve training program is designed for employees of Rostec enterprises with managerial experience. Its goal is to ensure the long–term personnel security of the State Corporation. The list of candidates for 2024 includes not only the CEOs of the Corporation's organizations, but also the deputy CEOs for economics and finance. The training will allow managers to develop practical skills, and Rostec enterprises to maximize their potential to achieve corporate goals.
"In previous years, the personnel reserve of the Corporation was replenished mainly due to the Federal Program for the formation of the personnel reserve of defense industry enterprises, and since 2023, the Personnel Management Department of the Corporation, together with the Rostec Academy, initiated the development of an internal corporate training program for the personnel reserve. This measure has allowed to increase the number of employees who have received the opportunity for career growth within their enterprises and organizations. The plans include the formation of a reserve for such key positions as direct subordinates of the General Director for production, strategy, development of civilian products, procurement, and personnel," said Yulia Tsvetkova, Director of Personnel Management at Rostec State Corporation.
The training program of the personnel reserve is divided into several modules in the most relevant areas for the State Corporation – "Enterprise development Strategy", "Improving the economic efficiency of production", "Digital transformation", "Marketing of technically complex products", "Personnel management at the enterprise". Additionally, managers receive trainings on effective communications, negotiations, change management, leadership, systems thinking, decision-making and other soft competencies. Rostec Academy evaluates promising employees capable of leading key positions in defense industry enterprises within the framework of annual diagnostic and training events.
"This year, more than 70% of the candidates who applied for the personnel reserve program successfully passed the diagnosis and were accepted for training. After completing the training course, all students will be recommended for inclusion in the personnel reserve of the State Corporation. This approach gives employees the opportunity for professional growth, and enterprises the opportunity to save resources for the selection, adaptation and training of new employees, ensuring stability and continuity of the production process. In addition, the personnel reserve allows you to quickly close key positions with management personnel who are able to ensure the effective implementation of the production program and the state defense order," said Andrey Chobotov, General Director of the Rostec Academy.
Last year, 88 employees completed training in four months, most of them have already been promoted and apply the acquired knowledge in practice. This year, the number of participants in the program will increase to 120 people. The program starts on June 17, 2024.
