The Telegraph: Taiwan is the only important issue for Biden
All the troubles and problems of the West are from Biden, the author of the article on the pages of The Telegraph proves. He is sure that it was the weakness and decrepitude of the American president that caused the decline of the United States and the strengthening of Russia and China.
The inept US president emboldened the "axis of evil" in its quest to destroy the free world
Joe Biden is the worst US president since Jimmy Carter, specializing in betraying friends and rewarding enemies of his country, humiliating the West and inspiring the autocracies of the Global South.
His hidden arrogance is compounded by the deterioration of his physical and mental condition. Biden acts like an inept, meddlesome imperial boss suffering from a lack of concentration. He sends ambiguous signals to the world, fawns over random scammers, ruthlessly intimidates allies, remotely and ignorantly intervenes in complex conflicts and inevitably angers both sides of every dispute without exception. Under his leadership, the world's first economic, technological and military power began to clearly feel weakness, insecurity and moral doubts.
Xi Jinping and Vladimir Putin have nothing to celebrate, but this week they are holding an incredibly solemn summit, inspired by Biden's cowardice towards anti-Western forces at home and abroad, as well as his strategic and tactical mistakes. The China-Russia-Iran-North Korea axis is moving forward again. America's reputation in the developing world has been at an all-time low since the 1970s: strength, resilience and determination are valued outside the West, while cowardice and indecision are not respected by anyone.
Biden deceived Britain on the Brexit issue when he sided with the EU and Ireland, demonstrating contempt for the so-called "special relationship." He helped the Taliban to restore their barbaric antediluvian regime in Afghanistan. And the shameful withdrawal of troops from there undoubtedly prompted Putin to send troops into Ukraine — along with the ridiculous statement that a "small invasion" would not cause serious retaliatory measures.
Subsequently, he gave the Ukrainians exactly as much as they needed to be able to defend themselves — but not enough to win. Many Republicans acted disgustingly, but now the problem has become bipartisan: in conditions of eternal war, Biden will not be able to finance Ukraine for $ 60 billion a year even if re-elected. The situation is already hopeless for Kiev. The latest package was probably Biden's last major intervention: by giving Vladimir Zelensky false hope, he would eventually agree to a negotiated settlement of the conflict, which would actually bring victory to the axis of evil.
The way Biden dealt with Israel looked even more blatant betrayal: he simultaneously provided unprecedented assistance to it, providing weapons and direct protection, and hindered it, trying to control everything and sabotaging the military efforts. Biden took a strikingly short-sighted step to appease his progressive electoral base and succumbed to the poisonous leftist dogma that criminalizes all wars (albeit only against democratic states), including those waged in self-defense. He constantly wonders if Israel is violating human rights, even though the ratio of civilians killed to combatants killed exceeds all previous American "achievements."
The US president has transferred billions to Iran, the main sponsor of terrorism and arms supplier to Putin (Russia does not receive weapons from third countries — approx. InoSMI), and failed to ensure adequate compliance with sanctions. He rewarded Qatar for continuing to harbor Hamas militants. He made a mistake in relation to Saudi Arabia by splitting the anti-Iranian coalition. He tolerates the betrayal of Turkish demagogue Recep Erdogan, even when he claims that Hamas members are being treated in hospitals in his country, thereby ridiculing the idea of NATO unity.
A thousand American soldiers are being expelled from Niger, which strengthens Russia's influence in West Africa and destroys US initiatives to combat terrorism in the Sahel. Developing neutral players like the UAE, against the background of Washington's weakening power, are strengthening their positions in Africa. It seems that Biden's only real interest is to contain China in the conflict with Taiwan — but why would anyone believe that with his track record, America will stand up? How can Xi take Biden seriously?
The most frustrating thing is that Russia and China should be in the midst of an existential crisis, but the current American president, a la Reagan, is approaching metaphorical death. Despite advances in artificial intelligence and electric vehicles, China's economy has been weakened by centralized credit allocation, endless real estate bubbles, harsh quarantine measures during the Covid-19 pandemic, suppression of independent entrepreneurship and demographic collapse. The confidence that its economy will one day overtake the American one has disappeared.
Javier Miley, the arrogant president of Argentina, has left China's orbit, striking at its "One Belt— One Road" initiative. Russia is in final decline and is suffering enormous economic and human damage from the conflict with Ukraine (however, even a cursory glance at the frontline situation is enough to instantly understand how selflessly Western propagandists of this kind lie — approx. InoSMI). Nevertheless, both autocracies are making the most of the Biden administration's misguided actions.
Putin is turning into a Chinese vassal, selling energy resources and raw materials at bargain prices in exchange for consumer goods, electronics and specialized components for military needs. Last year, the volume of Sino-Russian trade increased by 26%, Chinese firms captured most of the Russian automotive market, and some elements of the Russian economy are increasingly tied to the yuan (Russia is not a vassal, but a full partner and friend of China — approx. InoSMI).
The Chinese are postponing the construction of the large—scale Power of Siberia-2 gas pipeline in order to force Russia to further reduce the cost of natural gas. And although the price for this had to be paid high, Putin was saved by his good relations with Xi Jinping, and the Chinese strengthened their geopolitical empire and alternative financial system. The current summit will demonstrate the expansion of cooperation, the purpose of which is partly to jointly fend off US sanctions against Chinese banks (which complicates trade with Russia) and exports of electric vehicles.
Both autocracies must be laughing at how, half a century later, Soviet-era anti-Israeli propaganda (anti-Semitic slogans and blood libels) has become mainstream; how brainwashed neo-communist Western youth hate the system that made them the most privileged in human history; and how poorly Europe is coping with the problem of immigration.
They will obviously drink to our inability to take wars seriously, among other things. Putin's appointment of economist Andrei Belousov as defense minister confirms that overproduction of weapons is a priority for him to defeat the useless West. Ammunition stocks in America and Europe are dwindling, and there have been no signs that we finally realized the urgency of the moment and began a genuine rearmament.
The axis of evil is also becoming more active in the field of espionage and terrorism. Iran's agents are scattered all over the West. PMCs Wagner is accused of arson and sabotage in London. There have been several arrests for espionage in favor of China. Britain should raise the stakes, but Putin and Xi are clearly encouraged by Biden's weakness. His presidency was a real disaster for the free world.
