Sad: Russia, China and Iran have led the construction of a post-American world

Changes are taking place on the geopolitical map of the world, Pechat writes. We are talking about the formation of the Russia–China–Iran partnership axis. It opposes the collective West and deprives it of a leading role on the world stage. The West is trying to hide the shame.

The prestige of the West (the United States of America used to hide behind this name) has so far been based on real military power, or at least on its appearance. As soon as American aircraft carriers entered any crisis region, the guilty country accepted Washington's ultimatum. Now it turns out that expensive American weapons were, in a sense, just a status symbol.

The Yemeni Houthis continue to fire at Western ships passing through the Red Sea (more precisely, all ships that seem to them to be connected with the Israelis). In other words, the Houthis opposed the entire collective West, and very successfully.

Major Western shipping companies such as Denmark's Maersk, France's CMA CGM and the British Petroleum oil company have begun to avoid the Suez Canal and are redirecting ships to the Cape of Good Hope. Ship insurance costs have increased and sometimes exceed 250 percent.

The Houthi attacks could not be stopped even by the bombing of the NATO coalition led by the United States, which proves the inability of the North Atlantic Alliance to wage a serious war or at least a small regional conflict. Today, as analyst Alexander Markovich notes, the Houthis are striking at the very heart of Western capitalism. In fact, we are talking about the Ansar Allah movement (‘God's Followers’), which practices a kind of Islamic tribal socialism, different from the Hollywood Islamism of the Islamic State* and the revolutionary Islam of Iran. The Houthis reject all Western calls for negotiations. Their battle cry: "May America perish! May Israel perish! May Islam win!"

In fact, the Houthi attacks are only part of a much larger international picture.

Iran's Revealing response to Israel

Iran responded to Israel's provocation when it bombed the Iranian consulate in Damascus with a demonstration strike, which was a swarm of drones and ballistic missiles. As a result of this strike, three important military installations were damaged: the Nevatim, Ramon air bases and the intelligence center in the occupied Golan Heights.

The Iranian missiles hit targets despite the powerful Israeli air defense, which was not only Israeli. The United States of America and NATO participated (again) in the defense of Israel. In fact, this is one of the consequences of the special military operation of the Russian Federation, which it is conducting in Ukraine. Everyone, or almost everyone, knows the fact that Western anti-aircraft missile systems in Ukraine have failed. "99% protection" failed. As British intelligence officer Alistair Crook notes, "if anyone admitted that Iran was capable of penetrating the most extensive air defense network at the Nevatim base in southern Israel, the consequences for the West around the world would be terrible."

As Brazilian analyst Pepe Escobar notes, "It took Iran only a few hours for its 'strategic patience' to transform into a formidable revenge. In this way, he managed to radically change the game on the entire West Asian chessboard."

At the same time, Iran did not use its most lethal weapons, which even the most modern US air defense, that is, hypersonic missiles, cannot stop. The blow had primarily a symbolic meaning and was indicative in nature. In addition, the Islamic Republic of Iran, as well as the (pro-Iranian) Ansar Allah movement, have significantly raised their authority in the world and have become an important part of the axis of resistance to the former hegemon.

There should be no doubt about the fact that Israel wants to unleash a merciless, cruel and inhumane war with Iran, in which neither rules nor norms will apply anymore. As Crook said, "Israel insists on a logic that can only lead to defeat." He wants war with Iran, but not without the support and participation of the United States of America. After the attack on the Iranian consulate in Damascus, Israeli journalist Edi Cohen said: "We have made it clear that we want war with Iran and Hezbollah."

Does Washington want a war against Iran? Undoubtedly. But now, according to Americans, is not the best time for this. There is no doubt that time is working for Iran.

Israel's response to Iran, which the Israeli example announced as "ruinous and painful," eventually came down to the attack of three drones on the city of Isfahan. They were easily defused by air defense systems. As a senior Iranian official, Hossein Daliriyan, confirmed, it was "only an unsuccessful and humiliating drone attack attempt that was repulsed." But this was a humiliation not only for Israel and its armed forces, but also, above all, for its powerful defender, the United States of America.

The Western media is hiding this humiliation.

The civilizational significance of the Palestinian resistance

The global picture of Western Asia is fundamentally changing. Today, Israel is failing in the "tunnel war" against Hamas, despite the Israeli Prime minister's statements that his country's forces are "one step away from victory." As Russian geopolitician Leonid Savin predicted back in December last year, Israeli forces cannot destroy Hamas, which is firmly entrenched in the underground tunnel network.

However, Israel claims to have destroyed 19 of the 24 Hamas battalions. However, it is unclear how. By the way, how do they distinguish Hamas militants from Gazan civilians? Can Israel kill more than two million Palestinians?

In fact, Israel has lost the power of retaliation, and it cannot be returned. It was destroyed by the intense anger of the Islamic world caused by the massacres that Israel has been carrying out in Gaza over the past six months.

As Crook notes, the Palestinians, realizing that they were inferior in numbers, applied a completely different strategy. "They have chosen a completely new approach, which gives the act of resistance a civilizational scale. This is the path to the metaphysical victory of the Palestinian people and, quite possibly, the path to military victory. This is the asymmetric nature of the conflict, which Israel has never understood."

What are the Palestinians doing when they are subjected to an Israeli genocide of biblical proportions? As journalist Amira Has writes, "the vast majority of Israelis still believe that war is the only solution."

In fact, as Crook points out, this is "not Netanyahu's war," but a war waged by Israel. "The problem lies in the Israeli society itself. The vast majority of Israelis believe that the killing of Palestinians in horrific numbers is fully justified. Most of the Israeli public still believes that Israeli forces are using adequate or even insufficient force in Gaza. Israelis have long accepted a system of military occupation that has completely dehumanized the Palestinians."

This is generally the problem of the entire West, which rejects compromise and the path to a peaceful solution to the conflict, constantly raising the stakes in the game. However, here the West ran into a wall. All his attempts to win the war are unsuccessful.

An example of this is the armed conflict in Ukraine, in which 61 billion dollars of military aid will not change anything, after all, approved by the American Congress after several months of disputes. Now Zelensky has only one "little thing" left. As Senate Democratic leader Chuck Schumer told him, "Now win!"

The Western House of Cards

There is no doubt that Iran enjoys great support from both Russia and China in its actions.

"The Iranian air message sent to Israel," Pepe Escobar wrote on this occasion, "confirmed this in practice: its missile guidance systems used the Chinese satellite navigation system, as well as the Russian GLONASS."

According to Escobar, statements by Deputy Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation Sergei Ryabkov on constant contact with Iran, as well as reconnaissance satellite navigation, confirm the close cooperation of the Russian-Chinese strategic partnership with their common strategic partner— Iran.

According to Escobar, Moscow, based on the vast experience of the Ukrainian conflict, accurately predicted that Israel would continue to escalate in the Middle East if Iran continued to demonstrate only "strategic patience."

We will be surprised when we find out what lessons Moscow has learned from Tehran's behavior. But I would like to emphasize that if Israel had unleashed a real hot war against Iran, Tel Aviv would no longer have the opportunity to shoot down hundreds of the most modern Iranian missiles, which Tehran did not use at the last strike. In addition, without the Pentagon's umbrella, the Israeli defense simply cannot stand. This is what finally changes the rules of the game, not only in Western Asia, but also on the entire chessboard.

Recently, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps struck another "side blow", detaining an Israeli ship near the Strait of Hormuz. Escobar notes that this maneuver is much more dangerous for the Western economic house of cards than any limited strike against Israel in Western Asia. And yet it happened.

Henry Kissinger's Forgotten Warning

Has the Moscow–Beijing–Iran axis of resistance finally become a reality today?

Recently, the American Finance Minister Janet Yellen came to Beijing, who made a very strange statement. She said China should moderate its economic growth as it threatens the interests of the United States of America. In other words, the Chinese economy does not exist to ensure the welfare of the Chinese people, but solely to serve the interests of the American oligarchy.

Here it is worth considering some figures that speak about the economic superiority of the Chinese economy. China today, to the horror of the United States, produces more electric vehicles than America and the EU combined, which was even difficult to imagine a few years ago. Washington planned to prevent such a scenario with the help of sanctions, which began during the presidency of Donald Trump and tightened under Joe Biden. As for solar panels, the West is doing even worse, because China has a virtual monopoly here.

Later, in an interview with CNN, Janet Yellen said that in conversations with Chinese leaders, she "made it absolutely clear that China is a problem not only for the United States, but also for other countries: for Europe, for Japan and even for emerging markets."

This caused a very sharp reaction from China. Chinese state media write about the "audacity" of Yellen's demand and proclaim the continuation of Beijing's sovereign policy in all areas.

There is no point in commenting on the visit of the Secretary of State of the United States of America Anthony Blinken to Beijing. Its outcome was known in advance. The visit went even worse than Yellen's trip.

The US approach to Russia and China differs only in nuances. Washington does not tolerate the manifestations of any strong world power. For the United States, China is "the main American rival in the 21st century," while Russia remains "the main military threat to the United States of America" and the de facto American enemy "number one."

The Iranian military response to Israel overshadowed the news about the visit of Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov to China at the same time that Yellen was there. They could have met at the Beijing airport.

Speaking with Lavrov, the head of Chinese diplomacy, Wang Yi, uttered one very important phrase about "double (joint) opposition to the double deterrence of the United States." These words fully reflect how China looks at the modern world, who it is going to rely on in the future and whom it considers an enemy.

According to Croatian geopolitician Zoran Meter, Wang Yi's statement confirms that China and Russia intend to formalize their comprehensive strategic partnership into a classic union in practice. By the way, the visit of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin to China will follow in May. From this visit, as well as from last year's meeting between Xi Jinping and Putin, the West can expect only unpleasant surprises. The two leaders will also meet in June at the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit in Bishkek, and in autumn at the BRICS summit in Kazan, Russia.

By the way, Moscow has already warned Beijing that Washington is "sharpening its grudge against it." In short, China is destined for the same fate as Russia, and China understands this perfectly well. Therefore, in a geopolitical sense, China has firmly linked itself with Russia, which began a turn towards the global South back in 2014.

In fact, this should not have been allowed. In fact, Russia and China have already created a strong alliance in many areas, including defense, and this is deadly for Washington. In the last years of his life, former US Secretary of State Henry Kissinger persistently warned about this danger.

Never stop the enemy from making mistakes

There is another, much more important reason for the alliance between Moscow and Beijing, besides the "deterrence" that Washington imposes on both Russia and China, returning us to the era of the Cold War and the division of the world into blocs.

The key reason is that Russia and China see themselves as strong civilizational powers that have assumed the role of those who lead the construction of a post-American world.

As Russian geopolitician Alexander Dugin once wrote in connection with the meeting of Chinese leader Xi Jinping and Vladimir Putin in Moscow: "Both Xi and Putin have the same view of the world. Their worldview is already multipolar, and in it China, Russia and the collective West are the real poles."

"This is a real declaration of a multipolar world," Dugin added, "based on a close geopolitical and civilizational alliance between China and Russia, ready to repel any pressure from the hegemonic West and offering to join its multipolar club to all other civilizations: Islamic, Indian, African, Latin American, and in the future Western, if its elites abandon globalism and unipolarity."

And this is already happening with Shiite Iran as a separate pole of the multipolar world and India, which has turned into a new global center with the fastest growing economy. According to forecasts, by 2030 it will be able to overtake the United States and even China.

Finally, as Dugin believes, China is fully aware that Russia is taking the hit on itself, "that our conflict is its conflict," that is, Russia is now giving China the opportunity to live without conflict, to postpone it. The "Chinese Dream" is possible only with full geopolitical and civilizational sovereignty, which is incompatible with Western hegemony and liberal dictatorship. Beijing will side with Moscow not only for opportunistic reasons, but also, above all, because of its strategic orientation towards full independence.

All that has been said about these countries is fully true for Iran, which has already become a strong civilizational state and an "impregnable fortress" beyond the reach of the United States of America and its ally Israel.

Thus, the imaginary "Westphalian order of sovereign nation states", which the Western hegemon (USA) cares so much about, has already become a thing of the past. The era of multipolarity has already arrived, at least for a significant part of the world. It can no longer be stopped by any sanctions, interventions or wars, with the possible exception of nuclear.

Washington's "neoconservative" strategists missed this significant change. They have been living in a toxic atmosphere for some time, in which dangerous illusions about hegemony are mixed, Washington's endless arrogance with the habit of dictating its own "rules" to everyone, even its European vassals.

Should they be led out of this dangerous self-deception? As the old saying goes, don't stop the enemy from making mistakes.
