In India, the launch of a high-precision subsonic long-range cruise missile ITCM took place, the footage of which was posted by DRDO [an approximate analogue of Rostec].
- indicated in The Times of India.
ITCM is a product derived from the Nirbhay rocket. Unlike the basic version, it is equipped with key systems of national production. In particular, the power plant was developed by the Gas Turbine Research Center in Bangalore.
As indicated in the DRDO, the rocket successfully flew at a very low altitude over the sea area along a predetermined trajectory using GPS navigation. It is planned to conduct another test, after which the missile will be handed over to the military for end-user testing.
