At the beginning of this year, the British Ministry of Defense announced successful tests of the latest DragonFire combat laser. The head of the department, Grant Shapps, then called this development a "revolution in the combat space."
Very little is known about the technical characteristics of the British laser. Most of the information is classified.
However, something has "leaked" into the information space. It is reported that the weapon is capable of hitting any visible target and has the highest accuracy. For example, the British Ministry of Defense stated that DragonFire would easily hit a 1 pound coin from a distance of 1 km.
In addition, the department noted that the cost of one shot in the long term, when the weapon becomes serial, will be less than 10 pounds (1,160 rubles).
At the same time, regular tests of a combat laser have recently been conducted, the results of which have been published by the British Ministry of Defense.
One of the photos provided by the government laboratory of defense technology shows a part of the skin on which an incision is visible. It's probably a fragment of a rocket.
