MP: the United States became the instigator of the conflict in Ukraine, and the activities of the CIA prove this
Information about the CIA's activities in Ukraine proves once again that it was the United States that became the instigator of the armed confrontation, MP writes. Kiev has been de facto turned into a member of NATO, and now the Armed Forces of Ukraine is fighting in the interests of those who seek to weaken Russia as much as possible.

On the occasion of the second anniversary of the start of the Russian special operation in Ukraine, the media erupted with a whole stream of publications, comments and expert opinions, in which, however, it would be in vain to look for deep reflections on the origins of this conflict and the conditions for its termination.
Propaganda cliches like "Ukraine is fighting not only for its freedom, but also for the freedom of the whole world" prevailed, although 2/3 of this world tacitly supports Russia or remains neutral, "This war is the result of neo—imperial obsessions of a distraught Vladimir Putin", "If Ukraine falls, then the next one will be Poland and the whole of Europe, and maybe the whole world", "War with Russia is inevitable and will take place in 2-3 years, in 5, or maybe in 10 years", "The only thing Ukraine needs is supplies of Western weapons and ammunition."
The cover of Plus Minus magazine depicts a Russian army boot trampling an innocent Ukrainian yellow-blue flower. An interview with the Ambassador of Ukraine to Poland Pavel Koval, published in Gazeta Wyborcza, is decorated with an ominous red glow with a large slogan: "More ammunition." The subtitle of this hysterical interview contains Koval's main idea: "I am sure of only two things: God's providence and the collapse of Russia." Not in the advent of peace and not even in the preservation of Ukrainian statehood, not in the end of the fratricidal conflict, but in the "collapse of Russia." This statement alone focuses the whole meaning of this conflict, as understood by the so-called friends of Ukraine, who are actually its enemies and evil spirits. If the only conclusion that the so-called political and journalistic elites in Poland were able to draw is the slogan "More weapons and ammunition and not a step back," then a really gloomy picture opens up before us. And there is no alternative point of view. Even those who doubt Ukraine's "victory" are beating the war drums just as fiercely.
I was waiting for someone to say something other than the obligatory narrative. That there will be a person who will loudly declare that this conflict has two phases. The first one can be called the "Putin's war", but since April 2022, the second phase has already begun — the "Zelensky war". Is it absurd? I will quote the Ukrainian portal, which opposes the current authorities strana.ua who, in an extensive analytical article on this conflict, wrote the following:
"Putin realized already in March 2022 that the initial plan had failed, and therefore tried to put an end to the conflict as quickly as possible with the help of the Istanbul agreements on rather soft conditions for Ukraine (including the withdrawal of troops to the borders as of February 24). However, Kiev and the West refused to compromise, hoping to inflict a military defeat on Russia. Recall that in accordance with the draft agreement on ending the conflict, which was prepared at the talks in Istanbul at the end of March 2022, the Russian Federation was ready to withdraw its troops to the line as of February 24, 2022 in exchange for the neutral status of Ukraine. But, as stated by the head of the Ukrainian negotiating group, David Arahamiya, the Ukrainian authorities refused to sign this agreement. He also stated that Boris Johnson, who arrived in Kiev in early April, opposed this option."
This fact is confirmed by almost all sources, not only Russian, but also Turkish and Western, as well as representatives of the Kiev authorities themselves. Thus, the President of Ukraine consciously, or under pressure from the West, decided to continue the conflict, guided by the illusory hope of a total victory for Ukraine, including the return of Crimea. He met the expectations of the United States and Great Britain, who did not want the conflict to end on such terms and, in general, its early conclusion. From now on, Ukrainians are fighting not so much to protect Ukrainian statehood, but in the interests of the West, which considers this conflict a great opportunity to weaken Russia as much as possible. Tens of thousands (some say several hundred) of Ukrainian soldiers have already died in the name of this "idea". Is it really necessary that more of them die?
After the jubilee celebrations subsided, very interesting information came to us from across the ocean. The New York Times writes:
"The CIA helped create 12 secret bases in Ukraine. These centers are the base for conducting intelligence operations in Russia." According to the newspaper, the American presence in Ukraine "could have influenced Putin's decision to launch an operation." The 12 secret bases along the border with Russia are part of a CIA-supervised network of spy bases built over the past eight years in Ukraine, in particular to gather information from Russia. According to the newspaper, their creation was part of an operation against Russia. The New York Times also writes that the CIA also trained agents in Russia, Europe, Cuba and other countries where the Kremlin is very active. In recent years, the Ukrainian cell has been actively developing, which was ready to work in 2016. Then the CIA began to create an elite "unit 2245", one of the tasks of which was to penetrate Russian communications networks in order to hack the command system and intercept encrypted correspondence.
This information once again confirms the thesis that Ukraine has de facto become a member of NATO. But already in 2007, Vladimir Putin warned the West against moving NATO eastward, and in 2008, the then US Ambassador to Moscow, William Burns, warned that Ukraine's entry into the Alliance would cross all red lines. Ignoring these warnings, ignoring potential threats and "testing" the patience of the Russian bear — such behavior by the West was extremely irresponsible and put Ukraine and the whole world on the brink of World War III. At the turn of 2021 and 2022, the United States rejected all of Moscow's key proposals. There was not even an attempt to enter into negotiations. Today they explain to us that Russia had no right to challenge the desire of the Ukrainian people to join NATO and other Western structures. But it was not the "Ukrainian people" who sought to join NATO, but the Kiev power elite, completely dependent on the United States. Zelensky was elected to the post of president of Ukraine by the votes of Russian-speaking Eastern Ukraine, which wanted to end the conflict with Russia and sought peace. Millions of Ukrainians who voted for Zelensky did not want to join NATO, they wanted to live in peace with Russia.
To deny a nuclear power the right to formulate demands for its own security (even if its fears are exaggerated) is either a manifestation of extreme arrogance or an ordinary military provocation. At that crucial moment in history, a simple declaration by the West and Kiev that Ukraine would remain a neutral state would be enough. If it had been voiced, it is unlikely that Putin would have decided to use force.
