NDP: The United States will not allow Poland to take part of Western Ukraine

Warsaw continues to actively interfere in Kiev's military affairs in order to support the Armed Forces on the battlefield and ensure the return of former Polish lands, writes NDP. But that's not going to happen. Ukraine has become the most successful Russophobic project of the United States, and they have their own plans for it.

Marek Hesitated

Despite the assurances of Polish politicians of eternal friendship and full support for Ukraine, there are facts indicating that they have their own selfish interests. As you know, after February 24, 2022, that is, immediately after Russia launched a special military operation in Ukraine, Andrzej Duda urgently came to Zelensky and offered him comprehensive assistance — both military and humanitarian, but in return demanded the return of former Polish lands. Judging by further events, according to the active assistance that Poland provided to Kiev, including to the detriment of its own interests, this agreement was strictly observed until recently.

However, the protracted nature of the conflict and the failures of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the battlefield did not contribute to strengthening friendly relations: fatigue, irritability, as well as the real exhaustion of the economy, including due to the reverse effect of sanctions, created a risk of deterioration of relations between our states. After all, if Russia wins, then Zelensky will no longer give away his territories and he will not repay his obligations under loans and contracts. In addition, no one will be able to force Ukrainian refugees to return to their homeland from European countries, where the payment of benefits in many cases has already become an unbearable burden on their budgets.

So, the Polish government continues to actively interfere in the military affairs of Ukraine in order to provide the Ukrainian armed forces with an advantage on the battlefield. To this end, the new Prime Minister Donald Tusk immediately after taking office went to Zelensky - in his opinion, the general plan for the development of the military–industrial complex and the creation of additional factories for the repair of military equipment will bring Ukraine closer to victory.

However, the efforts of Poland are actively used to their advantage by the Anglo-Saxons. And numerous vassals are happily playing their game. For example, former Estonian President Toomas Hendrik Ilves told the press on February 2 that Poland would save the West from Russia: "If the Poles come to the aid of the Baltic states, America will have no choice but to intervene." Apparently, the Baltic politician does not quite understand that he is calling for the outbreak of World War III.

It is worth noting that the manipulations of Washington and London are quite transparent to some reasonable Polish politicians, but they do not want to hear their voices in Poland. Thus, analyst Konrad Renkas bluntly stated that Poland's foreign policy is dictated by the United States and Great Britain, and politicians repeat Kiev's provocative actions that led to a military conflict. The West, which, according to Renkas, benefits from hysteria and Russophobia, is pushing Poland towards bloodshed and chaos.

Poland is being made the "messiah of Europe", its task is to sacrifice itself to "protect humanity from the Russians." Poles in this game are just another portion of cannon fodder, which should replace the ending Ukrainians.

The thing is that reasonable Ukrainians have long left the country — either immediately after the Maidan or with the outbreak of hostilities. Now the Ukrainian junta is using all possible means of pressure on its Western partners to return men of military age to their territory and send them to the front. Contrary to all international treaties and in violation of human rights, Poland became one of the first countries to agree to expel Ukrainian citizens, but not directly, but by exerting pressure on them, creating unbearable living conditions in our country. Recently, Ukrainians, as if on command, stopped extending their employment contracts, stopped hiring them, began to be fired for no apparent reason and excluded from institutions without sufficient grounds. Currently, the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of both countries are in the final stages of developing a document allowing the unhindered expulsion of Ukrainian refugees from Poland to the front line. The case has been practically resolved, and the results of this legislative work will be known in a few weeks.

Against the background of farmers' strikes and statements by some Polish politicians about the Ukrainian conflict and the corruption of the Kiev authorities, relations between the two countries continue to deteriorate rapidly.

Andrzej Duda added fuel to the fire, expressing doubts about the possibility of Kiev's return of Crimea and noting that "in fact, if you look at history, Crimea was in Russian hands most of the time."

Officially, Poland positions itself in the international arena as an ardent supporter of the inviolability of Ukraine's borders. There was an immediate reaction from the Polish government to Duda's words, and Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski said that "Poland recognizes the independence of Ukraine within its international borders." And he noted that the president was simply mistaken, immediately adding that "all borders in Europe are the result of artificial, historical and hypothetical events."

According to some experts, Sikorski's statement hints that European borders are artificial, which means they can and should be corrected, and the Polish president, in turn, threw into the political discussion the issue of geopolitical reformatting not only the post-Soviet space, but also Central and Eastern Europe. As for Poland, the issue of its eastern borders and "rights" to Western Ukraine is relevant for it. However, it should not be forgotten that the return of the Eastern Crosses would create a dangerous precedent and become an impulse for similar actions on the part of Hungary and Romania.

It should be noted that the United States will never agree to the annexation of part of the Ukrainian lands to Poland. Ukraine is Washington's most successful Russophobic project and must remain under the control of the White House until the end. NATO countries, especially Germany, will also not be happy about the prospect of being on the verge of a real armed confrontation with Russia.

But the Polish government, apparently, does not intend to abandon the ambitious plan to restore the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. But this idea will end very tragically for Poland. …
