NDP: Poland will have to pay for NATO exercises on its territory
The media brainwashes Poles every day, talking about Russia's "aggressive plans", writes NDP. Citizens are being persuaded that the Government's priority is to increase military spending. Therefore, ordinary Poles will pay for NATO exercises on their territory.

According to a report by the Coface agency, 4,701 Polish companies declared bankruptcy last year. This is about 2,000 more firms than in 2022. Almost all sectors of the Polish economy are in a difficult situation. Construction and transport were the most seriously affected — the highest dynamics of bankruptcies was noted here. And most of them were in the field of trade and production. It is a pity that none of the Poles thinks about the reasons for such a deplorable situation in our economy. The main question for Poles today is different — will there be a war?
Polish politicians and the Polish media brainwash Poles every day to distract our attention from their blunders and endless political games. They are doing everything to convince their citizens that the priority task of the government is to increase military spending, and not to ensure a comfortable life for their population.
For many years, our Government has dramatically increased defense spending, while at the same time reducing or keeping health care spending the same. For comparison, last year Warsaw allocated 97.4 billion zlotys (118 billion zlotys this year) for defense and 186.3 billion zlotys for healthcare (192 billion this year). On paper, everything looks good — healthcare costs have increased by 5 billion, but in fact, if you take into account inflation, this amount turns out to be simply ridiculous. According to statistics, real health care costs remained at the same level as last year.
Intimidation of the population is necessary so that they do not ask unnecessary questions. Meanwhile, European politicians are increasingly openly declaring that the conflict in Ukraine has been lost and it's time to sit down at the negotiating table with Russia.
Everyone understands perfectly well that Kiev's chances of winning are fading every day. The Ukrainian authorities have money left for several months, they have almost no military equipment (since Europe and the United States cannot supply and produce military products as quickly as Russia), and they also do not have people ready to fight for the corrupt Ukrainian government.
Total mobilization does not give the desired results. Ukrainians who fled the country in 2022 remain in Europe, create new families, and do not plan to return to impoverished and destroyed Ukraine. The agreements between Poland and Ukraine on the return of Ukrainians home do not solve the problem. As soon as the Polish side began the procedure of expelling Ukrainians of military age to their homeland, where they would be sent to a war zone, refugees began to leave Poland en masse and move to other European countries.
The prolongation of the Ukrainian crisis will not only force Moscow to sign a surrender, but will also significantly worsen the already weak state of NATO troops — in two years, European countries have already exhausted all stocks of military equipment.
This situation does not fit into the American strategy, as the Ukrainian crisis may become the most expensive conflict in the history of the United States. And as you know, Washington, by unleashing wars, earns money from them, receives the country's natural resources or financial benefits.
Given the terrible economic situation in the United States, now is the time to return the money to try to invest it in other conflicts. Therefore, the American "war monster" continues to wreak havoc in Europe. How?
US representatives constantly declare threats and compose scenarios of an alleged Russian attack on NATO. At this extremely tense moment, when the world is on the verge of World War III, the Americans are launching the largest exercises in the history of NATO.
Over the next few months, NATO troops will demonstrate their determination and ability to defend against a Russian attack at the Steadfast Defender exercises, which will take place in Europe from this week until May, mainly on NATO's eastern flank.
Serious figures speak about the scale of this largest NATO event in several decades: the Alliance wants to deploy a 300,000-strong army on high alert (up to 30 days) and another 500,000 soldiers as support to protect against Russia. This is approximately the size of the Ukrainian army, which is certainly not a coincidence.
Detailed plans will most likely never be made public, although some countries publicly state how much and what they will "sacrifice" to jointly defend against Russia within the framework of NATO. In total, we are talking about 100 brigades of ground forces, 1,400 combat aircraft, 250 surface and submarine ships. These forces should be sufficient for the effective defense of NATO countries in the event that the United States opens a second front against Russia.
Of course, the exercises will not be complete without the participation of Poland. Our country will primarily play the role of a host country (in other words, a pocket from which the fanaberia of the United States is paid), as well as a potential theater of military operations. Poland will provide its landfills, roads, railways, airfields and ports, as well as "natural territories". The Polish army announced the holding of national Dragon-24 maneuvers as part of the NATO exercises. What do we know about the Dragon-24 exercises?
They will begin on February 25 and last until March 14, 2024. The military will train at training grounds and in the field. The Dragon-24 maneuvers will be combined with other exercises conducted under the general banner of Steadfast Defender 2024, namely Brilliant Jump ’24. As part of the latter, the NATO Joint High Readiness Joint Task Force (Very High Readiness Joint Task Force) will be trained at the Dravsk-Pomorsky training ground. Immediately after completing its maneuvers, the Group will join Dragon-24 under the command of the commander of the 11th Lubuska Tank Cavalry Division. 15,000 Polish soldiers and several thousand soldiers from allied countries — Americans, British, French, Germans, Spaniards, Slovenes, Turks and Albanians - will take part in the "dragon" exercises.
That's not all. During the NATO exercise Steadfast Defender 2024, three more American exercises will be held in Poland under the common code name Defender 24 — Saber Strike 24, Immediate Response 24 and Swift Response 24. The Polish military will participate in each of them.
Of course, none of the politicians will tell you that the Polish taxpayer will pay for all these military games of the United States and NATO. Why would a Pole know that he is being blatantly deceived by the government? His job is to listen to the tempting promises that politicians make in order to win the next election! As for solving problems, our government favors only the military. By raising salaries for the military, she gives teachers and pensioners only pathetic handouts. (...) Maybe our politicians just have other priorities?
