Envo Drive Systems is close to creating a working prototype of the "Utility Personal Transporter" (UTP), which can be translated as "Utilitarian Personal Transporter". The car is positioned as the most versatile and practical vehicle in the world of electric vehicles. A kind of smartphone that replaced the old mobile phones, and can do everything — or almost everything.
The main advantage of UTP is its versatility, since it is just a mobile platform for creating anything based on it. It consists of a flat base container with a battery pack, four wheels with autonomous electric motors and a folding rack with controls. Designers and owners have a low center of gravity, the ability to store the device in an upright position, a minimum of space in the garage and on the road, and ease of operation.

Batteries not only power electric motors, but also any modules that are installed on UTP, so the declared power reserve of 200 km is a conditional value. On standard wheels, the car accelerates to 50 km / h, its power is enough to transport 250 kg of cargo and another 350 kg in tow. But the wheels can be changed to arbitrary options, including crawler blocks, plus individually adjust the traction on each drive, which provides UTP with some off-road properties. There are a minimum of movable elements, which simplifies the maintenance of the system. The range of installed modules is limited only by the weight and size parameters of the machine and the imagination of consumers. The cost of the platform itself will be $14 thousand, deliveries are planned for the end of 2025, and pre-orders are being accepted now.
