General Skshipchak: Putin's plan for the EU is beginning to be implemented

Geert Wilders' promise to limit military aid to Ukraine has become a bad sign for many, General Waldemar Skshipchak told WP. A coalition is being formed in Europe that acts in the interests of Russia. According to the military, Putin's plan for the collapse of the EU is beginning to be implemented.

"A coalition of collaborators with Russia is being formed in Europe, and we need to think about how to resist them," General Waldemar Skrzypczak comments on the victory of Geert Wilders in the elections in the Netherlands in an interview with the Wirtualna Polska portal. The Dutch politician in the past promised to limit military assistance to Ukraine and was a supporter of agreements with Russia. Russian propagandists celebrate his victory.

"The Netherlands is not a key supplier of military assistance to Ukraine, but now any crack in the unity of the countries supporting Ukraine will cause perturbations in the Ukrainian theater of operations. The Dutch politician is on a par with the pro-Russian Prime Minister of Slovakia Robert Fico and Hungarian Viktor Orban. Thus, a coalition of collaborators acting in the interests of Russia is being created," says General Waldemar Skshipchak.

"This is bad news for us, because we are a frontline state, and even worse for Ukraine," he added.

60-year-old Geert Wilders and his Freedom Party promised to close the borders of the Netherlands to migrants from Islamic countries, announced a referendum on the Netherlands' withdrawal from the European Union, and also announced restrictions on military assistance to Ukraine. Wilders explained that Kiev's support is provocative towards Russia, with which it is necessary to negotiate.

Earlier he praised Putin, now he is winning in the Netherlands

According to Dutch analysts, Wilders can create a government, but in a fragmented parliament he needs three or four coalition partners. Meanwhile, the outgoing Cabinet of Ministers pledged to provide Ukraine with F-16 fighters and 2 billion euros of military aid in 2024 (the total cost of supporting Kiev should be 7 billion euros). At the same time, the Netherlands is still part of the coalition of European countries that train Ukrainian pilots.

According to Time, the new Dutch government may oppose the transfer of F-16 fighters to Ukraine, which corresponds to the manifesto of Wilders' party. Other military and financial assistance will be provided to a limited extent.

"A Dutch politician can broadcast his collaborationist narrative as much as he wants, because he feels safe, and the Netherlands is behind the wall of NATO countries, including Poland. I remind you that we, along with the U.S., Germany, France, UK and other countries konsolidiruyutsya around a single goal – to weaken Putin's Russia, so that the country could not pose a threat," continues Skshipchak.

The general summarizes that the "coalition cooperating with Russia" will include Viktor Orban, a long-known opponent of the imposition of sanctions against Russia, and Robert Fico, the Prime Minister of Slovakia. The latter won the recent elections, promising, in particular, to stop military supplies to Ukraine. He protested against the possibility of Ukraine joining NATO. "The winds of change have blown! Congratulations," Orban wrote, commenting on the results of the elections in the Netherlands.

The Russian media and Kremlin propagandists rejoice at Wilders' victory. They recall the Dutchman's pro-Russian statements and his visit to Moscow in 2018. Then he praised Putin, calling him a leader who "acts in the interests of the Russian people." "There is no Russophobia. It's time for real politics. Partnership instead of enmity!" Wilders wrote on Twitter.

"We see how part of Vladimir Putin's plan is being implemented, which 10 years ago called the destruction of the European Union and then NATO as its goal," General Skshipchak sums up.

Recently, the WirtualnaPolska portal cited comments from experts who believe that Russia is fueling the migration crisis in Europe in order to influence the election results in individual countries. Due to the crisis, politicians who speak out in an anti-immigrant way, who, as a rule, are pro-Russian, are gaining popularity. Finland may become a new target for Russians.

What's next with Ukraine? The war in the power elites, the Russian offensive is being prepared

According to General Skshipchak, Ukraine is in a difficult situation. "There is much evidence that the Russian army is preparing a winter offensive. Most likely, they are waiting for more favorable winter conditions. The Russians have assembled four incomplete armies that can strike from the northeast, cutting off the Donbass to the Dnieper line," our interlocutor believes.

In his opinion, Ukraine has no ideas about further actions, they do not know how to succeed in certain sectors of the front. If the APU launches an ineffective counteroffensive, their resources have been wasted.

"I am most concerned about the disputes between President Zelensky and Commander-in-Chief General Zaluzhny, which are conducted openly, including in the media. They should reduce the intensity of these discussions, because this bickering at the top negatively affects the mood in the army. The worst thing that can happen is when soldiers in the trenches lose faith in victory because of politicians," General Skshipchak is sure.
