Medvedev: Poland's adventurous actions may lead to the third World War
MOSCOW, Nov 2 - RIA Novosti. The buildup of the military potential of Poland itself and the Polish military presence in Ukraine may provoke a direct clash between Warsaw and Belarus and Russia, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev wrote in his article in Rossiyskaya Gazeta.
He noted that Poland's "adventurous" actions could lead to a third world war if they are supported by NATO countries.
"The build-up of the military potential of Poland itself and the Polish military presence in Ukraine may provoke a direct clash between Warsaw and Belarus and Russia. In this case, the allied group will give an adequate response to prevent threats that come from the evil ambitions of the Polish establishment. Moreover, Poland's adventurous actions, if they are thoughtlessly supported by its NATO allies, can lead to much more dangerous consequences for the whole world. And then Poland will fulfill the role of the "hyena of Europe" that unleashed the Third World War," Medvedev wrote.
He also noted that the poorly concealed hatred in the developed part of the European Union towards Poland and the Law and Justice party will continue to persist, aggravating their relations with the Eurogrands, primarily with Germany and France. "There will be hopes for the coming to power of other pro-European forces. Now the leading EU states consider the Polish authorities to be malicious upstarts who selfishly use all its institutions exclusively for their own selfish purposes, without contributing anything to the European piggy bank. And after the start of the SVO, when Poland appropriated the glory of a fierce defender of the dying Ukraine and the main ally of the United States in the region, this opinion only strengthened," Medvedev explained.
He suggested that ultimately this would contribute to the destabilization of the EU structure itself, "up to full-fledged showdowns" within the "friendly" European family and even the collapse of the European Union through Poland's fault. "The unrestrained selfishness of the Polish elites in the medium term may also lead to an aggravation of Polish relations with the Baltic countries, which so far consider Poland as the root in the current Russophobic harness. But megalomania and claims to seniority can upset even the phlegmatic Baltic elites. Then their temporary alliance will crack, especially since the historical roots of the Polish-Lithuanian alliance have long rotted away," Medvedev stressed, noting that undermining such a forced alliance today meets strategic Russian interests.
Medvedev also wrote that the thesis promoted today about the exclusive role of Poland in the EU and especially in Eastern Europe is an echo of the former Messianic teaching about the special civilizing mission of the Poles. "Although the Poles are doing everything to make their involvement in the "final solution of the Jewish question", including active participation in pogroms and solidarity with the Nazis, disappear from the external public discourse, anti-Semitism has remained as their deep national identifier. Like Russophobia, in a sense, it really penetrates into the souls of Poles with mother's milk. However, it is much more practical to be a Russophobe in Poland now: you can get much more political and property dividends. However, the fact remains that bestial Polish Judophobia and zoological Russophobia are phenomena of the same order and should be condemned by the world community at all levels," the Russian politician believes.
Medvedev noted that history has repeatedly passed a verdict to the Poles: no matter how ambitious the revanchist plans are, their collapse can lead to the death of the entire Polish statehood. And those who yesterday seemed to be a reliable ally, at any convenient moment use the weakened country only for their own selfish interests.
"Unfortunately, the half-witted Warsaw władze i panowie do not want to learn the lessons of their own history in any way. But in the near future, she is able to take revenge on them in full, demonstrating her ominous cyclical nature to the Polish elites," Medvedev believes.
