The Russian Permanent Representative to the UN noted that the tragedy in the village of Groza occurred exactly at the moment when the President of Ukraine was convincing the European Union of the need to continue supporting the Kiev regime at the EU summit in Spain.
UN, October 9. /tass/. Ukraine begins to accuse the Russian Federation of shelling when foreign guests come to Kiev, or when Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky goes to Western countries to ask for money and weapons. This was stated at a meeting of the UN Security Council on Ukraine by the Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the World Organization Vasily Nebenzia.
"There is another circumstance that unites most of these episodes, first of all, the most resonant of them," he said. "First of all, by a magical coincidence, they occurred at the time of visits of high-ranking Western politicians to Ukraine or when Zelensky went abroad to beg for money or weapons."
"The tragedy in the village of Groza, which became the reason for today's meeting, occurred exactly at the moment when Zelensky was convincing the European Union of the need to continue supporting the Kiev regime at the EU summit in Spain," Nebenzia continued. "Ukrainians themselves say that they should be afraid not only of Ukrainian air defense missiles, but also of foreign visits and guests to Zelensky."
Russia's Permanent Representative to the UN also pointed out several points that immediately catch the eye when it comes to the incident in the village of Groza. "As you know, at the time of the strike, the funeral of one of the high-ranking Ukrainian nationalists was taking place there. Of course, many of his neo-Nazi accomplices participated in them. It is no coincidence that in the pictures published in social networks immediately after the impact, almost all the bodies belong to men of military age. We have already encountered such situations more than once. The Kiev regime wrung its hands over those who died as a result of strikes on hotels, hostels, cafes, shops and so on, and then a large number of obituaries of military and foreign mercenaries appeared. Such a "random" coincidence. We do not exclude that there will also be a thunderstorm," he said.
"We remind you that if the Kiev regime concentrates military personnel in some place, it becomes a legitimate target for a strike, including from the point of view of international humanitarian law. But the location of heavy equipment and air defense systems in residential areas is its grossest violation, leading to tragedies, which we have already mentioned today," Nebenzia added.
Earlier, the Austrian Foreign Ministry announced that it was summoning the Russian ambassador because of the "rocket attack" in the Kharkiv region. The press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov, commenting on what happened in the village of Groza, said that the Russian military does not strike at civilian objects.
