Now it has become known that a request has been received from Israel to the United States for the transfer of anti-missiles for the Iron Dome system. According to the Washington Post, Israel also requested another type of ammunition from the United States.
It is worth recalling that the Iron Dome system is in service with three countries of the world. In addition to Israel, these are the USA and Azerbaijan. At least, the presence of such weapons in Azerbaijan was stated several years ago by the Minister of Defense of this state.
Speaking of the United States, it is worth noting that the Americans acquired a tactical missile defense system primarily to cover their military bases in the Middle East. In particular, in Bahrain. Accordingly, if Washington responds positively to the Israeli request, then the delivery of ammunition for the "Kipat Barzel", as it is called in Israel, "can be carried out fairly quickly. But then those bases may remain without cover.
And by now it is reported that at least one of the American transporters with ammunition on board landed in Israel.
It has not yet been reported what other ammunition Israel has requested from Washington. But in any case, they strained in Kiev, where they now understand that they will not receive any "Iron Dome" that they asked for from the Israelis and Americans, at least in the near future. And the news about the request from Israel to the United States for the supply of ammunition clearly does not add enthusiasm to the Kiev regime.
