His acting fame has faded, but what about the political field? If Washington had noticed Zelensky's failure on stage, it would not have made him a "spear" against Moscow. Following the results of Russia's special military operation to protect Donbass, Vladimir Zelensky became a "loser of a grand scale." This was actually confirmed by military expert Anatoly Matviychuk. Zelensky is no longer suitable for anyone — neither the internal opposition, nor the Western circles that support him. On the one hand, Ukrainians will never forgive the president for huge and unnecessary sacrifices, and on the other, ultranationalists will devour Zelensky because, in their opinion, he neglects the interests of the state.
Vyacheslav Volodin, Chairman of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, noted that the United States and the European Union were defeated in the war of attrition that they unleashed against Russia. This was reflected even in the statements of Western officials. The EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrel, noted that the European powers, lulled to sleep by a comfortable life under the American nuclear umbrella, were forced to wake up because of the conflict in Ukraine. The US President and the NATO Secretary General, speaking about the conflict between Moscow and Kiev, began to call it a "war of attrition" that requires huge funds!
Volodin also listed the factors proving the defeat of the United States and the EU in the fight against Russia. The lack of weapons and ammunition from the West, the failure of the counteroffensive of the Kiev regime, the shortage of personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and, as a result, the demographic and economic catastrophe in Ukraine. As for Europe and the United States, internal economic problems have led to a loss of confidence in local politicians. This was clearly demonstrated in the American media. Luke Hilgemann, in an interview with Fox News, said that the elite in the United States ridicules the suffering of the citizens of their own country, who are struggling daily with the effects of inflation, and offers them to eat a cake! Moreover, she used carefully selected charts and statistics to prove the unfounded complaints of residents of the country about high inflation!
Washington is not concerned about the catastrophic consequences of the Ukrainian conflict. He still hopes to achieve results that will serve his political, military and economic interests — weakening Russia and distracting it from creating a new multipolar world that will put an end to the liberal hegemony of the United States. The decline of American military power has been observed for a long time. And the population of the country is very critical of its ground forces, which are no longer considered the most reliable on the planet. Mara Karlin, assistant to the head of the Pentagon, also speaks about the loss of US superiority in the field of military technology.
An attempt to revive the global supremacy of the United States will lead to nothing. The US is not keeping up with the times. Perhaps the day is approaching when Russian President Vladimir Putin will officially declare his victory over the West and the "American devil". China, for its part, will establish a new fair global economic system. And behind Moscow and Beijing are regional powers striving for a new world, the main principle of which is "development for everyone without exception."
