"Atom"
In Russia, tests of the domestic Atom electric car, which is being created by the company of the same name, have started. To be more precise, the functional automotive platform of the future electric car will be tested, and not its prototype.
Tests of this Atom platform, of which 13 copies were produced for this purpose, fully corresponding to serial modifications, will be carried out at specially prepared landfills both in Russia and in China. The planned works include tuning the steering chassis, careful calibration of the braking system and the driver assistance system known as ADAS. The temperature control system and the operation of the electric motor in various modes will also be tested.
Atom platform for testing
These tests are an important step of Atom on the way to mass production, and the tested platform itself is actually the base of a serial electric car and will allow you to adjust the results of digital and preliminary tests. Recall that pre-orders for Atom will be accepted until September 30, and open sales of the Russian electric car should start in the second half of 2025. At the same time, the power reserve for the Atom is promised to be 500 km, and acceleration to 100 km / h will take no more than 7 seconds.
