MOSCOW, September 27. /tass/. Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu checked the progress of the implementation of the state defense order by the Tactical Missile Armament Corporation (KTRV). Together with the Governor of the Moscow region Andrey Vorobyov, the Minister visited the production workshops of the enterprise with an inspection, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reports.

Shoigu heard the report of the head of KTRV Boris Obnosov on the creation of an MLRS equipped with guided missiles. "The management of the corporation presented to the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation the latest models of weapons launched into mass production, obtained as part of the operational development and modernization of high-precision weapons," the report says.
The head of the KTRV reported to Shoigu on increasing the production of high-precision weapons twice. Obnosov pointed out that the production of individual product nomenclatures increased three and a half and five times.
The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation recalled that the relevant instructions of the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation were given following the results of the audit in March 2023. They noted that the volume of production of products has increased due to the modernization of production, increased productivity, increased staff numbers and the transition to a 24/7 work schedule.
According to Obnosov, specialists from other enterprises with specialized education were additionally attracted to the Moscow Region enterprise. "People come here from Orenburg, from Perm, work is very tight with local educational institutions - with technical schools, with the corporation's training center," the Defense Ministry quoted him as saying. Obnosov pointed out that 40 graduates of these educational institutions have recently been employed.
Execution of the state defense order
Shoigu set the tasks of KTRV to fulfill the state defense order. He noted that KTRV, in the interests of the armed forces, is developing modern aviation weapons of destruction, in particular those related to the high-precision nomenclature. "The first and foremost positions are occupied by the Corporation "TRV", - said the head of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. He expects that the pace that has been gained will continue not only in 2024, but in some areas they will increase. "To date, our joint work is yielding results, we also have an increase in production, not in percentages, but in times, and all this is extremely in demand in our special military operation zone," he noted.
Shoigu also said that it is planned to consider new products in detail. In addition, the meeting is supposed to raise the issue of support, in addition to solving financial issues through the state defense order. Among other topics, the minister mentioned the issue of specialists who were attracted from other enterprises, from other cities and regions. "Quite young people are doing very serious and important tasks," the minister said.
The Defense Ministry added that Shoigu checked the progress of the state defense order at the KTRV enterprise in the Moscow region in March 2023. During the inspection, the task was set to increase the rate of production this year and double the volume of production of high-precision weapons of destruction.
