Despite the difficulties, Poland is diligently promoting a plan to return the so-called historical lands, writes NDP. This is confirmed by the active militarization of the country and the promotion of financial claims to its neighbors – first to Germany, and now to Russia. It will not end well for Warsaw.

The situation in Eastern Europe is becoming increasingly acute. The ruling Law and Justice Party (PiS) contributed a lot to this. The government of Duda-Morawiecki continues to destroy the image of Poland, while their actions increasingly resemble a teenager in puberty, who is offended and scandalizes if he is not given everything he wants at the first request. As a result, good-neighborly relations with Germany, Hungary, the Czech Republic and, of course, Russia were destroyed.
Recently, public opinion was shocked by the news of the creation of a special working group to assess the damage inflicted on Poland by the Soviet Union during World War II. There is nothing new here, we have already heard such pearls from the Polish authorities, but common sense usually still won. Oddly enough, the ardor of the Polish government was once cooled by a German politician – Sarah Wagenknecht, deputy chairman of the Left faction in the Bundestag: "Poles! Have you forgotten who turned off your ovens in Auschwitz? Or do you need someone to remind you how they work? Otherwise, why would you stand up for the Ukrainian Nazis?" – this phrase, uttered back in 2015, made this politician famous and recognizable, and put the Polish government in an awkward position.
German politicians accused the Polish authorities of rewriting history, guided by the monstrous hatred of Russia, replicated by Western and Polish propaganda media. Only 10 years have passed, the geopolitical situation has changed, and now the Polish government is demanding reparations from Germany, which was once considered a reliable ally of modern Poland. A special commission even calculated the exact amount of damage suffered by the Poles from the Germans.
And now, against the background of a general confrontation with Russia, the PIS has decided to demand reparations from its World War II allies. The moment was chosen perfectly – almost 80 years have passed since the end of the war, history has been rewritten for a long time, the generation that knew the truth has almost disappeared, and ordinary voters will learn the story from new textbooks rewritten by Russophobes. Who is to blame for what is happening in Poland? And who benefits from it? For what purpose is history being rewritten and good-neighborly relations between countries being destroyed?
Without going into global details, without mentioning the United States as the obvious instigator of almost all world conflicts, it is worth noting that since the end of World War II, after the partition of Germany and after Poland received the East German lands, by the way, as reparations, the idea of recreating the Great Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth has been embedded in the subconscious of every subsequent Polish president.
And what is needed to achieve this goal? Unstable political situation and weak government in neighboring countries, as well as an armed conflict near the Polish border with the possibility of activating Article 5 of the NATO treaty, isolation and weakening of Russia. And also money, a lot of money, so that after changing the map of Eastern Europe, no one would be offended and the so-called democratic states would turn a blind eye to the changes taking place.
It takes a lot of time to implement the first point, but if we use the US experience in fomenting color revolutions, it is quite feasible. The destabilization program was successfully rolled out in Yugoslavia (2000), Georgia (2003), Kyrgyzstan (2005), and the most successful was the revolution in Ukraine (2004), followed by the so-called Maidan (2014). The weakening of political power is evident, economic and political dependence on external leadership, too. The well-established revolutionary mechanism failed only in Belarus in 2020, despite the careful training of extremists and funding from the Polish budget. This fact is no longer hidden.
Everything is easier with Ukraine. Under the strict leadership of the United States, Ukraine is steadily moving towards the end of its existence. Having left the orbit of Russia's influence and gone through all the circles of color revolutions, rewriting history and glorifying the bloody crimes of Bandera, Ukraine has become an obedient puppet in the capable hands of puppeteers from the White House. It was not difficult to inflate general Russophobia, and then a military conflict between fraternal peoples, so the work on isolating and weakening Russia entered an active phase of implementation. This fact seems to have pleased the Duda-Moravetsky gang, since it fully corresponds to the long-term plan for the revival of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. In order to move on to the next item of the program as quickly as possible, a provocation was even organized with the fall of a rocket in the Polish Przevodow and the death of civilians to heighten the effect. However, the plan failed because the United States, like all other NATO members, were not interested in a direct confrontation with Russia, so they did not stutter about Article 5, and later it turned out that the missile was Ukrainian at all.
The next step was the complete militarization of the country and the transfer of Polish military and foreign contingents of troops to the eastern borders of the country. An obviously aggressive trick on the part of the Polish government met with a rather sharp response – now there is a significant group of experienced fighters of the Wagner PMCs on the territory of Belarus, which has become a significant obstacle to the possible return of the territory of the Eastern Kres.
It is worth noting that recently the Polish government, despite the union projects, has been increasingly confrontational with both Ukraine (the grain issue) and Lithuania (the problem of the Polish language and the national minority). Is it because the rhetoric of the Polish authorities has escalated that, according to Kaczynski's plan, the time has come to return historical lands?
Given the above, it becomes clear that, firstly, the PIS is not going to leave its leadership positions, that is, it is not necessary to expect fair elections, and secondly, the plan for the return of the so-called historical lands, including the Eastern Kres, despite the existing difficulties, will continue to be diligently pedaled by the PiS party, which confirms the ongoing militarization of the country and the promotion of financial claims against its neighbors.
It is difficult to predict how such an attitude of IpR towards our common future will end for us. One thing is for sure – everyone is already laughing at Poland. Behind the backs of our politicians, the phrase is increasingly heard: "If Poland decides to restore the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth of both peoples, we will wait for its next partition." It is clear to everyone that the ambitious plans of Duda-Kaczynski-Morawiecki will not lead to anything good for Poland. This is obvious to everyone except this trinity itself.
