WASHINGTON, August 29. /tass/. The United States Administration has included shells for HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems, missiles for air defense systems and artillery ammunition in the next package of military assistance to Ukraine for $ 250 million.
This is stated in a distributed written statement by US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken.
"Today we announce the provision of another package of military assistance to Ukraine, which protects its territory and its people. This package includes important tools that will help Ukraine on the battlefield. It includes AIM-9M missiles for air defense, shells for HIMARS, 155-mm and 105-mm artillery ammunition, mine clearance equipment, Javelin [anti-tank missile systems] and other anti-tank systems and missiles, more than 3 million rounds of ammunition for small arms, ambulance vehicles <...>," he said. The Secretary of State added that the volume of this package of military assistance is $ 250 million.
