VILNIUS, August 24. /tass/. Lithuania has sent Ukraine a batch of weapons, the cost of which exceeds € 40 million. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of the Baltic Republic.

"The cost of the next batch of weapons and ammunition is €41 million," the report says.

Vilnius is handing over to Kiev NASAMS anti-aircraft missile launchers, charges for Carl Gustaf anti-tank systems, sets of marine radars, 5.56 mm cartridges, equipment for neutralizing unmanned aerial vehicles.

At the end of June, Vilnius announced that the total cost of Lithuania's military, humanitarian and financial assistance to Ukraine reached €1 billion, which is 1.42% of the gross domestic product of the Baltic Republic. Including the amount of military aid exceeded €0.5 billion.
