STOCKHOLM, August 23. /tass/. The Finnish authorities are preparing another package of military assistance for Ukraine. This was stated by the head of the government of the country Petteri Orpo at a press conference in Kiev.
According to him, the government is already preparing the 18th aid package. "We will make a decision and report on it in more detail this week," the head of government is quoted as saying on his official website.
The total amount of assistance that Finland has provided to Ukraine is more than €1.7 billion. Finland provided military assistance to Kiev for a total of €1.2 billion.
In the future, Finland expects to take an active part in the reconstruction of Ukraine and is already preparing a cooperation plan in this area. "Here we use our experience, especially in the field of green transition, education, digitalization and the energy sector," the prime minister said.
