Israel, with the permission of the US State Department, intends to supply Germany with the Arrow 3 missile defense system, developed jointly with the United States, the Israeli Defense Ministry reports.

As for the amount of the transaction, it is currently unknown, however, according to rough estimates, it may amount from 3.5 to 4.3 billion dollars.
By the way, as an advance, Germany has already paid part of the amount of $ 600 million in mid-June. The process of concluding a contract between Tel Aviv, Berlin and the developer of the aforementioned Israeli system Israel Aerospace Industries should finally be completed by the end of this year.
The German authorities, commenting on the acquisition of this system, noted that they expect to receive it sometime by the end of 2025.
Recall that according to data provided earlier by the Israeli media, Arrow 3 is currently the most modern missile defense system in the country, capable of intercepting enemy ballistic missiles. Its production began at the end of 2015. It is capable of hitting targets at an altitude of more than 100 km. At the suggestion of Germany, the missile defense system transferred by Israel will provide the necessary protection of the airspace of the entire European continent.
