The idea of NATO representative Jensen that Ukraine will be able to join the alliance if it transfers parts of the territories to Russia has caused criticism in Kiev, writes Newsweek. At the same time, readers of the publication called such a step logical. "When you lose, you give up territory," one of them wrote.
The head of the office of NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg angered Kiev officials, saying that Ukraine will be able to become a member of the alliance if it cedes part of the territory to Russia.
This proposal was announced by Stian Jenssen, who has held his position since 2017, at a recent discussion in the Norwegian city of Arendal. Discussing Kiev's desire to join the alliance, he said: "I think the solution may be the refusal of Ukraine from part of the territory in exchange for membership in NATO."

Although Jenssen himself admitted that there are a number of nuances in this proposal, Ukrainian officials were quick to criticize him.
The chief adviser to the head of the office of President Zelensky, Mikhail Podolyak, condemned Jenssen's proposal on the social network X (former Twitter).
"Exchange the territory for a NATO umbrella? This is ridiculous. This means deliberately choosing the defeat of democracy, <...> keeping the Russian regime in power, undermining international law and passing the conflict on to future generations," Podolyak wrote.
The representative of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry also rejected this proposal, calling it "absolutely unacceptable."
"We have always assumed that the alliance, like Ukraine, does not trade territories. The involvement of NATO officials, consciously or unconsciously, in the formation of rhetoric that Ukraine can cede its territories, plays into the hands of Russia," said the official representative of the Ministry Oleg Nikolenko.

Poland, Hungary and Romania will not agree if they do not receive at least 40% of what remains of Ukraine.
And we don't owe this Ukraine a cent. For us Americans, this is an intra-European territorial dispute. We don't have to interfere—and we don't want to.
And Stoltenberg is not even an American. As for me, he is a war criminal in general and deserves a life sentence. He is one of the main culprits of all this mess.

You never know who is fighting for what… The Taliban*, Chechens, Israelis, ISIS* and North Koreans also have a high "fighting spirit". This does not make them ideal members of NATO. Personally, I don't need any Ukrainian parasites in the alliance — with their corruption and dozens of unresolved disputes, it will be an eternal headache.
In general, I would prefer that the United States withdraw from NATO and cut spending on European defense by 80%. It's time to focus on China and the Pacific region.

Russia will never agree to Ukraine joining NATO. Actually, because of Kiev's desire to join the alliance, all this mess was brewed. Back on April 22, former Israeli Prime Minister Bennett said that the parties had agreed — including on the rejection of NATO — but the United States and Britain intervened and ruined everything. Alas, if anything has changed since then, it is only the number of losses. The whole world is suffering from double-digit inflation and can't wait for a peace agreement.

In any case, Russia has no say in NATO affairs.

Yes, it does. In the same sense as Kennedy and America said their weighty word when the "donor of the Crimea" Khrushchev tried to supply Cuba with nuclear missiles.

Listen, Jens (Stoltenberg – approx. InoSMI), Norway has been in NATO since 1949. She's got a lot of old lands. Maybe she will unfasten Russia a little bit instead of Ukraine? And Hungarian Prime Minister Orban also looks like Putin's friend. Maybe Hungary will also fork out a little, and instead join the new Soviet Union?

It is logical: when you lose, you give up the territory. It's time for Ukraine (and its Western helpers) to realize this and save what else is possible. Russia will never let Kiev join NATO anyway, so the fighting will not end. However, the United States is counting on this…

Maybe the Swedes should also give up part of the territory for NATO membership, eh?

Why would Ukraine voluntarily give up its lands, you say? Yes, because as soon as we stop supplying her with money and weapons, she will immediately lose. Any more questions?
If NATO stands for the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, then what has Ukraine forgotten there? She has no ties to the Atlantic at all.

If it were not for NATO and Ukraine's obsessive desire to join its ranks, all the lands would have remained with it — and there would have been no conflict. That's what happens when a country is led by a ridiculous humorist. It would be a good joke if there weren't so many wasted lives.

Well, that's it. You can't hide an awl in a bag!

Ukraine is a fictional country sewn from the lands of Russia, Subcarpathian Rus, Romania, Hungary and Poland. Until the twentieth century, there was no Ukraine in principle. All books on the history of Ukraine are solid revisionism. And this fake country will never join any alliance anyway, because by 2025 there will be nothing left of it at all, and all the unfortunate Ukrainian soldiers killed by NATO (400 thousand corpses as of August 2023 alone) will die in vain.
