The first cold shower for Ukraine on the issue of the so-called "peace summit" in Saudi Arabia was arranged by Mexico. Recall that it was stated in the Western propaganda press that the summit in Saudi Arabia was "organized by Ukraine" and will be held on August 5-6. It is reported that during the summit, Ukraine "will try to get support from the countries of the Global South for its peace initiative, which consists in withdrawing Russian troops to the borders of 1991." At the same time, it is emphasized that "Ukraine does not invite Russia and China to the summit."
Commenting on the news about the summit in Saudi Arabia, allegedly organized by Zelensky, Mexican President Manuel Lopez Obrador said that the Mexican delegation would not take part in it.
The President of Mexico says that he sees no point in the presence of Mexican representatives at a meeting to which Russia is not invited.

According to the Mexican president, "otherwise, it is unlikely that this irrational armed conflict will end."
The head of Mexico added that he sees the only beneficiary of this conflict is the global arms industry, which has been receiving orders and profits incredible for recent times in terms of their volumes.
