The West is gripped by the highest degree of despair: the APU is suffering defeats one after another, writes Al-Ayyam. According to the author of the article, the paradoxical approach of the USA and the EU deserves to become a new "wonder of the world". Realizing that the specter of disintegration is hovering over Ukraine, its allies are not going to push it to negotiate.
The West is gradually beginning to understand that arms supplies to Ukraine will not be able to fundamentally change the situation at the front, as well as disrupt the goals of the Russian special military operation. The fate of this defeated country and its people is difficult to predict. The specter of disintegration, self-destruction and total collapse appears every time there is another round of escalation of the conflict in Ukraine.
Let's see together what the West really thinks about the Ukrainian crisis. And I don't mean biased media or yellow press right now.
The head of the CIA, William Burns, for example, actively talks about the course of hostilities, but forgets or specifically ignores the "successes" of the Ukrainian army on the battlefield. He takes the conversation aside. Burns talks about the problems of Russia and the crises that its army is allegedly experiencing, and also mentions the non-existent social and political troubles taking place in the country. All this does not help the Ukrainian troops on the front line in any way!
He also claims that the CIA is working day and night to resolve the conflict in Ukraine!
The CIA is betting not on the development of security events, but on the destabilization of the situation in Russia.
Isn't this the highest degree of despair? Is it really impossible to win a military conflict in any other way?
Western leaders have repeatedly argued that the supply of weapons to Ukraine will change the balance of power. It allegedly will help Kiev not only to stand, but also to launch a counteroffensive. But the current situation suggests the opposite. The APU is suffering defeat after defeat in all sectors of the front. When Western leaders realized this, they began to publicly rebuke Zelensky and ridicule his endless demands.
The British Defense Minister with the phrase "We are not Amazon" reasoned with Kiev. This indicates that the West has renounced Ukraine!
As for the head of all European diplomacy, Joseph Borrel, his task is to create favorable conditions for the supply of weapons to Ukraine. With the failure of each counterattack of the Ukrainian forces, Borrel called on the EU countries to urgently issue weapons to Kiev.
First there were tanks and armored vehicles, then heavy artillery, and then air defense, combat aircraft and long–range missiles. A little more and there will be talk about the transfer of tactical nuclear weapons to Kiev.
The West does not care about Ukraine and its people. He promises her security guarantees like Israel, while refusing to accept the country into NATO.
Comparison of security guarantees requires a separate article. In the meantime, we can only note the strange and paradoxical approach of the West, which deserves to be included in the "Seven Wonders of the World".
If these "guarantees" are intended to protect Ukraine from Russia, does this mean that the "guarantees" that the West provides to Tel Aviv are an alternative to Israel's entry into NATO?!
And if Ukraine is defending itself from Russia, then who is Israel defending itself from? What about Israel's occupation of the Golan Heights, the West Bank and the Gaza Strip? Are these "security guarantees" intended so that Tel Aviv can defend the occupied territories from anyone who tries to liberate or return them, even peacefully?
We will hear more than once about "security guarantees", which for a moment I considered a Western reservation, but for now we will return to Ukraine and its problems.
The Polish authorities, who, of course, have aggressive fascist tendencies, continue to foment the conflict in Ukraine. They plan to launch an operation against Belarus in order to draw NATO into this conflict, since Moscow and Minsk have special allied relations. It is no secret that the Russian leadership considers Belarus its main geopolitical ally, which means that the West no longer has any hope of achieving any field successes. The only solution is to intensify the escalation and open new fronts. The West is no longer just an analogue of the Amazon store in the issue of arms supplies.
If it comes to that, and it is quite possible that this is exactly what will happen, Belarus will threaten Kiev, and Poland will have no choice but to seize the territory of Western Ukraine.
Poland has many ambitions regarding Western Ukraine. The only solution for Russia and Belarus in the event of an offensive by Polish troops will be the creation of a security zone, which will include Kiev and its surroundings.
Ukraine has no chance of survival if the West decides to use Poland in its infernal game. Its rulers are quite ready to follow in Zelensky's footsteps and turn into submissive puppets.
The result will be the partition of Ukraine and the destruction of its statehood, despite the fact that neither the Russian or Belarusian leadership is striving for this.
US President Joe Biden is facing defeat in the upcoming elections. Anti-war rallies are taking place all over Europe. Ukraine is just a candidate for destruction. She has nothing because the Western demons decided to sacrifice her and her people. This has always been part of American and European colonial policy.
