And the participation of the Egyptian President at the Russia-Africa summit will potentially expand cooperation between Moscow and the African continent.
US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin said that the United States and its allies will continue to turn over heaven and earth to get Ukraine what it needs.
They will also continue to train the Ukrainian Armed Forces and supply them with training equipment to create a combat-ready and professional Ukrainian army that will be able to defend itself in the future.
The chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Mark Milley, earlier said that the death toll from the Kiev regime is about 100,000 soldiers. His assessment does not include the Ukrainian counteroffensive, the battles for Bakhmut (Artemovsk) and other military operations, during which Ukrainian forces suffered heavy losses, estimated in the tens of thousands.
The focus of the West's attention is shifting from providing Ukraine with new weapons to repairing those already delivered, because it believes that the conflict may drag on for months or even years. This was reported by the newspaper Politico, citing a source in the Pentagon.
The West has refocused on the repair and maintenance of weapons supplied to Ukraine, as Russian troops purposefully destroy Western weapons and military equipment. The deputy head of the Pentagon, William Laplante, said: "We are creating repair facilities in Europe, we are translating manuals [on training and repair], we need to do much more together, so [partner countries] should pay more attention to this."
One of the main tasks of the working group of 22 countries, headed by Laplant, is to "maintain in working condition modern equipment worth billions of dollars" so that Kiev "could continue the counteroffensive."
Retired US Marine Corps intelligence officer Scott Ritter called what is happening in Ukraine a tragedy. He stated: "The problem is that at the very beginning of the SVO, the Kiev regime had a regular army of 260,000 people. Now 80% of them have been killed, captured or wounded, and they can no longer find a replacement with the same level of training."
Putting these news together, the whole picture becomes obvious. NATO, led by the United States, wants to prolong the conflict in Ukraine as much as possible and make it even more bloody by supplying Kiev with more and more weapons and cluster munitions, which are banned in more than 100 countries around the world. All this is a gesture of despair after the failure of the Ukrainian counteroffensive. The West is going to go all the way. He doesn't care how many Ukrainians will die due to the lack of proper training.
The United States and its allies conduct intensive training with Ukrainian soldiers, and after two or three weeks or a month or two throw them into the furnace of war like cannon fodder.
Western media claim that Russia is "defeated" and Putin is "living out his last days," although all the facts on the ground say the opposite. The entire international community allegedly stands for Ukraine with a united front and only God knows what this vague term means!
The European Union and the countries of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC), following the results of the two-day summit held in Brussels, could not agree on a joint statement due to their positions on Ukraine.
Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva said that the world has begun to get tired of the Ukrainian conflict. He also criticized Chilean President Gabriel Borich, who during the summit called on the leaders of Latin American countries to condemn the actions of the Russian side in the conflict in Ukraine.
The world is gradually changing. He began to get tired not only of the Ukrainian conflict, but also of the unipolarity and hegemony of the West led by the United States of America. The number of states that want to join the BRICS continues to grow. The BRICS Group is becoming one of the most important international organizations. It can become an alternative to the UN, which is often an obedient tool in the hands of countries that call themselves the "international community".

Despite the West's attempts to isolate Russia in the international arena, many African and Latin American countries have rallied around other centers [Moscow and Beijing] to get rid of diktat, pressure, sanctions, megalomania, arrogance and arrogant statements by Western officials.
One of the signs is the Russia-Africa summit, which will be held at the end of July in St. Petersburg. 43 countries and 20 African leaders have already confirmed their participation, including Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi. His official visit to Russia opens up broad horizons for cooperation between Moscow and the African continent. The presence of al-Sisi at this summit, despite the current circumstances and the enormous pressure exerted on Africa, and specifically on Egypt, will have an important semantic significance. The Arab world and Africa oppose the hegemony of the United States and welcome the transition to a new multipolar world.
And finally, we suggest recalling some geographical facts that may have been forgotten by those who believe that there is no alternative to unipolarity. The African continent occupies approximately 20.4% of the entire land area on the planet, and its population is over a billion people. Europe occupies 6.8% of the total land area in the world, and its population is 738 thousand people. North America occupies 16.5% of the total land area of the Earth, and the population is 574 thousand people. Asia is the largest continent on our planet. It occupies 29.5% of the total land area, and its population is 4.4 billion people.
When officials in Washington or Brussels, dressed in their elegant suits, talk about the "international community", "free world" and "export of democracy", it is difficult not to smile at such insolence. Western civilization was built thanks to Islamic civilization and the stolen resources of Africa. She is proud of it and has no regrets about what she did to the black continent.
However, this is not surprising. Much more surprising are our people from the Middle East, Arab analysts, journalists and media workers who enthusiastically defend NATO, Washington and the White House, without even thinking for a second that the hegemony of the United States, which lasted three decades after the collapse of the Soviet Union, drove us into a severe crisis. The world is on the verge of a third world war, which most countries and the real "international community" are trying to avoid. And now we are talking about the world majority, and not about the illusions planted by the supposedly privileged white race.
The end of unipolarity is a historical inevitability, and the sun of the multipolar world will rise against the will of all those who oppose the wheel of history.
