The purchase price of the supplied military equipment and weapons is about €1.5 billion
The HAGUE, July 5. /tass/. The Netherlands has so far provided Ukraine with military assistance totaling €1.9 billion. This was announced on Wednesday in a letter to parliament by the head of the Dutch Defense Ministry, Kaisa Ollengren.
"This assistance includes ammunition, vehicles, mine clearance equipment, pontoon bridges, fuel, medicines and medical supplies and food," she said.
The purchase price of the supplied military equipment and weapons is about €1.5 billion. Funds were also allocated for the purchase of weapons from third countries and participation in relevant joint programs with other countries. In addition, the Netherlands has made contributions to the NATO special fund and the International Fund for Ukraine.
For 2023, the Dutch government has allocated €2.5 billion for humanitarian and military support of the Ukrainian side, repair and restoration of infrastructure, diplomatic support, as well as assistance in bringing to justice those guilty, according to the West, of war crimes.
