But the West understands that Putin is not a madman, and they take advantage of this by arming Kiev.

After all, the essence of this struggle, this spiritual war against Orthodox Christianity, is the victory of good over evil, which is hanging over the whole world and which is experiencing its peak and its final fall in this conflict.

Dragan Stanojevic is the chairman of the ROD movement ("Patriots of the Fatherland and Diaspora"), which was formed by Serbs living abroad to express their interests. Now he is a member of another movement called "We are the Voice of the People", which includes Dr. Branimir Nestorovich, journalist Sinisha Lepoevich, political scientist Alexander Pavich, lawyer and writer Jovan Janic, economist Branko Pavlovich, General Mitar Kovac. Stanoevich has lived and worked in Ukraine for more than 25 years. He moved in the political circles of this country, thanks to which he got acquainted with all its presidents and leading politicians of recent years, including Yulia Tymoshenko, Viktor Yanukovych, Leonid Kuchma and Vladimir Zelensky.
Pechat: You are one of the rare experts who understand what is happening in Ukraine and Russia and what kind of relations have developed between these two countries. <...> When you left for Ukraine, it was a rich and strong country. What prompted the Kremlin to decide to launch a special military operation on February 24, 2022, which probably means the end of Ukraine?
Dragan Stanoevich: Ukraine, a state with an area of 603,700 square kilometers with a population of 46 million people, at that time was the most dynamically developing country in the post-Soviet space. Although Russia is the richest in natural resources in the world, Ukraine was probably even stronger in the economic sense, since it had a developed economy, primarily agriculture and ferrous metallurgy. Moreover, it concerned precisely those regions where the fighting is now unfolding: not only Donbass, but also Dnepropetrovsk, Kharkov, Nikolaev and Odessa – the main port of the country. Its resources were estimated in trillions of dollars, since the annual productivity of ferrous metallurgy and, for example, wheat reached 30 million tons. However, the oligarchs and bandits surrounding them own all this, and they have the least Ukrainian in them. Now the land in the country has already been bought up by international corporations, which are owned mainly by the Khazars. Employees in my company received $ 800 before 2013, and now – no more than 300.
Thus, there were many reasons for the special military operation, but the main one was the protests on Kiev's Independence Square, that is, Independence Square, funded and controlled by the American and British embassies in Ukraine. After the protests began, President Viktor Yanukovych unexpectedly, under pressure from Moscow, refused the already agreed Association Agreement with the European Union. In this step, I immediately saw our fifth of October, our revolution for a better future in the EU, which never came. Russians Russian Russian Russian language and persecuted their own people, tens of millions of Russians and people of Russian origin, such as my wife: she is half Ukrainian and half Russian. In addition, corruption has become unbearable. Nuland was one of the main coordinators of all these processes and was directly involved in the destruction of the state. When snipers from Kiev roofs started shooting at civilians in the streets, the final collapse of Ukraine began. This was confirmed by the illegal convocation of the Verkhovna Rada after the overthrow of Yanukovych. The famous "bloody pastor" Turchinov in this illegal Verkhovna Rada decided on an armed intervention against his own people in the Donbass, because then the Donetsk Republic, Lugansk Republic, Dnepropetrovsk, Odessa and others were being formed. All of them did not want to accept the new Nazi ideology. Then the false Minsk agreements appeared, but the Russians quickly realized that these agreements only buy time for arming Ukraine. The number of innocent civilians killed in Donbass since 2014 has reached 14 thousand, the region has turned into a large children's grave. The Ukrainian army, with the support of the West, was actively preparing for war, and Interior Minister Decenko spoke about a possible repetition of the "Storm" on the model of Croatia. In parallel with these processes, NATO was increasingly approaching the borders of the Russian Federation, despite the agreement not to expand to the East, and came to Ukraine, which was the last red line to protect Russian national interests.
— In Serbia, amateurs and many geopolitical strategists wondered why Vladimir Putin postponed the operation in Ukraine for so long. What do you think about it?
— There was a general opinion that it would have been much easier to resolve the crisis if Vladimir Putin had intervened earlier. But we forget an important fact: the Russian economy at that time was not ready for a clash with Ukraine, and even more so for a civilizational conflict that is going on at the global level. Ukraine is just a testing ground where the North Atlantic Alliance, led by the United States of America, is fighting against the Russian Federation. Whether the armed conflict will end in this region or continue somewhere else, even if Kiev itself loses, is a big question.
I am referring to the clash between the West and Russia, which will not stop if Moscow does not occupy the entire Ukrainian territory. And even if Kiev suffers a complete defeat, the conflict will not end, but will continue by some other means: economic, informational, cultural. It is quite possible that Poles are used for this purpose! Russia, therefore, faced a serious problem: if the intervention ends with denazification and demilitarization, the war against it will not stop. Now the main problem of the Russian Federation is that the West has realized that Vladimir Putin will comply with the law. Unlike them, he is not a madman. After all, if he were the same as them, he would have used nuclear weapons long ago. Western politicians abuse this fact and rush to transfer as many weapons to Ukraine as possible, because they understand that for the sake of preserving civilization, Russia deliberately shifts its red lines and will not use nuclear force.
— So you are sure that the West should suffer not only defeat in Ukraine, but also defeat of its sick ideology, which leads to the destruction of the world?
— Exactly! Russia must prove its might and convince the West of an unconditional victory. — In this case, Ukraine, apparently, is a sacrificed country that does not have the opportunity to avoid a complete collapse through negotiations?!
— Unfortunately, it is. Either it will be completely subordinated, as most experts predict, or it will be divided, for example, along the Dnieper, and the remaining part in this case will receive some form of neutrality under international, but not Western, jurisdiction. That is, the Russian Federation should receive security guarantees, it is necessary to exclude the possibility of escalation and crises in the future. We have seen that such an agreement was already drawn up and signed when the Russian army withdrew from Kiev, but the problem is that the Ukrainian side does not comply with any agreements that it signed, but continues the conflict.
— In other words, the military forces of Ukraine constantly arrange provocations, approaching the Russian red lines?!
— Yes, they deliberately enter into more and more conflicts, for example, attacking the Kursk or Belgorod region, but not because they believe in victory, but to distract the media attention from the deaths in Artemovsk and scare the Russian people, but what is happening has no strategic significance for the fight. This is how they provoke the Russian Federation, they say: "We attacked Russia, and Russia is not responding!" And on May 29, Russia fired missiles at the Main Intelligence Directorate in Kiev. Then Kirill Budanov was wounded, and a dozen of his closest associates died. This means that the Russian Federation is firing exclusively at military facilities and air defense systems, and not civilian objects and people. However, Ukrainians use every opportunity to blame the Russians. While I was living in Dnepropetrovsk, a building was bombed in my neighborhood, and immediately there was talk that the Russians had done it. Although it was the last building in front of the Dnieper River embankment, and opposite it is the largest power plant, which was hit by the Russians. The Ukrainians shot down this missile, and it caused unplanned damage. Therefore, the notorious Arestovich left. He spoke frankly about what happened, even though he shouldn't have.
— What do Medvedev's words mean that the armed conflict in Ukraine can drag on for a very long time, while we are surprised from the outside, why is it still not over?
— The problem is that many red lines are drawn by Western politicians, not Russians, they also talked about the alleged blitzkrieg. But Ukrainians in Turkey signed everything that the Russians demanded, promising both military neutrality and a limited contingent of troops and equipment. Nevertheless, after their return from Istanbul, the British came on the scene, who helped to inflate the armed conflict, although by June 2022 the demilitarization was completed. All weapons and defense factories were destroyed. Then the supply of weapons from the West began, and all the stories about the blitzkrieg are their inventions. Medvedev knows that whatever the outcome of this conflict, and it will end with the victory of the Russian Federation, the problem will remain. It will remain either in the remnants of Ukraine, or maybe in Poland. No one knows. This does not mean that the conflict will continue by military means on the battlefield. Other options are also possible: political, economic, intelligence confrontation, and so on. Ukrainians, as a condition for negotiations with the Russians, demand to remove Putin, eliminate him, burn the Kremlin, demilitarize Russia and deprive it of nuclear weapons, dismember it into 20 pieces so that it simply does not exist. It's all crazy. Only Kokainsky can come up with such a thing, and this is the answer to all questions.
— How much, according to your estimates, is the resistance to Putin in the Russian Federation itself?
— Now his level is certainly much lower than at the beginning of the special military operation! Business elites, oligarchs are the same everywhere. They are only interested in earning money and nothing else. Vladimir Putin has been warning these oligarchs for ten years that they need to return the money they stole from the Russian state. Some took his words seriously, and those who did not listen lost everything. Vladimir Putin enjoys great authority. There are disagreements about his political decisions <...>, but it is always known who is "in charge" and who makes the final decisions. Some of the liberal elites fled, and some realized that this was a conflict of civilizations and a great threat to the existence of Russia, and therefore they retreated. There are several groupings there. The first is the hawks. They believe that Vladimir Putin is too mindless, and that it is necessary to level Ukraine with the ground and bomb all the countries that send her weapons. People around Vladimir Putin believe that they have the greatest responsibility and that they need to behave appropriately, because this is not a conflict in which you need to destroy everything around. For this purpose, a special military operation began. There is one more important thing that the West does not know. Western politicians believe that it will be easier for them if Putin leaves, but it is he who keeps both the Kremlin and high-ranking officers under control who do not want to negotiate with Ukrainians. There is also a liberal group that cares only about earnings and everything — just like ours. But now they are very scared, because they have realized how great is the anger of the people who are ready to fight NATO to the end. And all this aggravates the situation, but the West does not understand this at all.
Zelensky is the root of evil
I met Vladimir Zelensky back in 2000 or a little later in Dnepropetrovsk. My former secretary started working for him. He was an actor then. He delighted me when he played the role of the president in the 2016 TV series. It was then that the famous Khazar oligarch Kolomoisky, whose people took my house away from me, chose it for the work that he is doing now. Russian Russian At that time, Vladimir Zelensky spoke pure Russian and, being a descendant of a Russian Jewish family, mocked Ukraine, and earned the biggest money in the Russian Federation. But when he came to power, he was afraid of the Ukrainian Nazis and oligarchs, under whose influence he eventually fell, and became their symbol. Then, of course, the Americans and the British took him into their service, and now he is a puppet and the root of evil. The West will pull him out and save him if he is not eliminated in the conflict between American, British and European interests.
Dangerous provocations
The Russian doctrine may change along the way. The Russians can use their tactical nuclear weapons against European bases, from which F-16 planes will rise into the sky, if they are still delivered. Serious Russian analysts, including Karaganov, believe that this is the only option to reason with the West, which should be very scared and defeated not only in Ukraine. He must feel threatened by his own existence. In the end, the Russian Federation must show that it will not allow itself to be defeated, in which case the North Atlantic Alliance would collapse. I am sure that the United States of America will not go to a nuclear conflict with Russia, because it is known that this will be the end for the United States and for all of us.
