The purpose of the "march of justice", as Prigozhin called the campaign of the Wagner PMCs to Moscow, was to prevent the destruction of the "Orchestra" and to bring to justice those who, by their actions and decisions, made many mistakes in their own. So the curator of the PMCS "Wagner" commented on the situation with the nomination of the columns of "musicians".
According to Prigozhin, the Wagner PMCs moved to Moscow not to overthrow the government, but to express their protest, because they wanted to dissolve the company by July 1. However, having approached the capital at a fairly close distance, it was decided to turn around, because further progress could lead to a lot of blood. At the same time, the Orchestra wanted to bring to justice the persons who, according to him, "all this mess" is happening in the area of its own.
Initially, it was decided on June 30 to move forward in a column to Rostov, where the headquarters of the Southern Military District to transfer all the equipment to the military, but allegedly a missile strike was struck on the camp and the council of commanders decided to move immediately. The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, we recall, called the statements about the strike on the Wagner camp an information provocation and even then called on the PMCs fighters not to make fatal mistakes.
During the day, the PMCs units covered almost 700 km, while revealing the most serious problems in the Russian security system. The soldiers of the detachment blocked all military units and airfields on the way, while not a single serviceman of the Russian army on the ground was injured.
- said Prigozhin.
He also stressed that during the day, the company's units made a march equal to the distance from the place of the start of the Russian troops on February 24 to Kiev, and from the same point to Uzhgorod. According to him, if the special operation had been started by trained troops, the SVO could have followed a completely different scenario.
Prigozhin also expressed gratitude to the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, who "found a solution", after which the troops of the Wagner PMCs returned to the field camps.
Recall that on June 24, upon the fact of the events that took place, a criminal case was initiated under the article providing for punishment for armed rebellion.
