Putin: the future command staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation should consist of those with combat experience
The future command staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation should be made up of people proven by combat actions who did not flinch. This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin on June 12 during a meeting with the participants of the SVO who are being treated at the Vishnevsky Hospital of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
In this regard, the Head of state invited the participants of the special operation to think about further military studies.
According to him, such people — proven by military actions — are needed by the country, in particular by the Armed Forces.
"If someone links their fate with the armed forces, it would be right that the future command staff of the Armed Forces should be recruited from such as you," Putin said.
Earlier in the day, it became known that Putin, during a visit to the Central Military Clinical Hospital, presented awards to the participants of the special operation.
So, from the hands of the president, the star of the Hero of Russia was received by the commander of a rifle platoon, Yuri Zhulanov. Thanks to the courage and dedication of Zhulanov, a group of Russian soldiers broke out of the encirclement and inflicted serious damage on Ukrainian nationalists.
The special operation to protect Donbass, which Putin announced on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was made against the background of the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
