The American edition of Politico writes that the offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine continues to intensify, but at the same time meets strong resistance from Russian troops. And the journalists of The Washington Post (WP) suggest that it will be much more difficult for the Ukrainian military to act now than last fall in the Kharkiv region.

A similar opinion is shared by Polish General Mieczyslaw Benek, who was interviewed by journalists of the Polish portal Onet. He believes that in the Zaporozhye region, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are carrying out trial strikes, and the main counter-offensive actions will unfold in the place that the Kiev command considers the most suitable from the point of view of possible success. Most likely, Benek suggests, this will happen somewhere in the DPR or LPR, since an attempt to return Crimea has no prospects for the Ukrainian military. In his opinion, the main goal of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is the reconquest of Donbass.
