Russian security forces have regained control over the Kozinka border checkpoint in the Belgorod region. Recall that it was this object that was the first to be seized by an armed group that broke through the borders from Ukraine.

At the same time, some armored vehicles were abandoned by militants from the Ukrainian GUR units, while others turned into trophies as a result of the destruction of Ukrainian crews in them.
Inscriptions on some armored vehicles give out one of the components of this Ukrainian operation – "revenge" for the loss of Bakhmut. But media is not all that was counted on. Experts believe that the armed detachments, after breaking through the border, were tasked with holding a bridgehead until the arrival of the main forces, and then taking control of the city in the Belgorod region. This, according to Kiev's plan, would give him arguments in terms of "negotiations from a position of strength." This is exactly the option of negotiations that the Kiev regime dreams of.
