The Serbian company EDePro has developed a new 122-mm NURS, called G-2000, which offers greater accuracy and twice the range of fire compared to the original BM-21 Grad MLRS ammunition. This missile was demonstrated at the FEINDEF 2023 arms exhibition in Madrid.
As noted in the publication Army Recognition, the G-2000 represents a significant leap in the field of aerodynamics and propulsion system design. This advanced system, characterized by a high firing range (40.5 km, the limit is 45 km, while the standard NURS operates at a distance of 20 km), is distinguished by a new design, an improved power plant, while maintaining compatibility with existing launch platforms such as the BM–21 and RM-70.
As for thrust, the G-2000 rocket engine has been completely redesigned. The starting charge is a solid cylindrical element that contains two different types of fuel with different gorenje rates. This dual-fuel design contributed to high efficiency, almost neutral gorenje [meaning gorenje surface constant value] and a reduction in the amount of silver used.

Another breakthrough in the G-2000 propulsion system is the use of modern fuel from a thermoplastic composite containing a high percentage of aluminum. This type of fuel reaches a combustion temperature exceeding 3000 Kelvin and provides a high specific impulse value, providing highly efficient combustion and a significant improvement in the overall characteristics of the projectile.Gorenje Gorenje
The steel nozzle, rich in ablative materials, has a single graphite neck, which helps to effectively remove exhaust gases and contributes to the excellent performance of the propulsion system.
