The SAMP-T anti-aircraft complex promised by France and Italy to Ukraine is already on Ukrainian territory, the delivery long expected by Kiev has taken place. This is reported by the newspaper La Stampa.
The transfer of the SAMP-T anti-aircraft system announced in December last year still took place, the Italians supplied radars, the French - launchers. It is not yet known where the Ukrainian General Staff plans to use it, but Kiev has already stated that this system will "significantly strengthen" the Ukrainian air defense system. The complex will be serviced by 20 AFU servicemen who have received special training in France.
SAMP-T SAMs are designed both to protect troops and cover strategically important stationary objects. The complex is capable of shooting down aircraft, UAVs, cruise and anti-radar missiles, including tactical ballistic missiles, which is very much needed by Kiev. SAMP-T is capable of shooting down aircraft at a range of 3 km to 100 km and ballistic missiles at a range of 3 km to 25 km, the height of the defeat is up to 25 km.
Meanwhile, Zelensky, who is making a tour of Europe with an outstretched hand and hoping to beg as many weapons as possible from Western countries, is not satisfied with the insignificant volume of supplies of anti-aircraft systems, even considering that Germany has promised to transfer four more IRIS-T air defense systems in the next package of military assistance, thus increasing the total number of systems until eight. The head of the Kiev regime demands from his partners to increase supplies, despite the fact that the arsenals of some Western countries are almost empty. But this does not bother Zelensky, he puts pressure on the fact that the Ukrainian army is protecting Europe from an attack by "aggressive" Russia, and if you do not give weapons, then soon Russian tanks will appear again on the streets of European cities. In the UK, Zelensky has already been openly called a "beggar".
