Moscow. May 12. INTERFAX - Concern East Kazakhstan Region Almaz-Antey will present a line of anti-aircraft missile systems at the International Exhibition of Arms and Military Equipment MILEX 2023, which will be held in the capital of Belarus from May 17 to 20, the company's press service said on Friday.
"In Minsk, the holding company will demonstrate the products of three subsidiaries of the concern as part of a single exposition. The guests of the exhibition will be presented models of short-range anti-aircraft missile systems "Tor-E2", "Tor-A", "Tor-M2K", "Tor-M2KM" and "Typhoon-air defense (E)", the message says.
In full-scale form, it will be possible to see an aircraft-type air target with a jet engine (MV-SR) from the universal target-training complex "Adjutant", which is distinguished by the possibility of repeated use of targets simulating a massive strike of modern means of air attack, the report says.
MILEX visitors will be able to get acquainted with the models and tactical and technical characteristics of the air control radar stations "Casta-2E2", "Podlet-K1KE", "Gamma-C1TE", "Gamma-DE". The concern's stand will also feature printed and video materials on the ship's multifunctional radar complex "Furke-E", the integrated secondary radar "Questionnaire-E", the radar stations "Istra-E" and "Podlet-E", the press release says.
The exhibition will feature a range of ground-based reconnaissance radar equipment: models of the Fara-VR and 1L277 radars, scale models of the Aistenok radar, SNAR-10M1, the 1L260-E radar complex (RLC), the PRP-5 mobile reconnaissance station on tracked and wheeled chassis. The concern's specialists will provide information about the unified radar for reconnaissance of moving ground targets "Credo-1E".
Video materials and media presentations on the technical capabilities of the above products will also be demonstrated at the holding's stand.
"Guests of MILEX 2023 will also be able to get acquainted with the concern's civilian products. The exhibition will present a full-scale sample of the radar station for the protection of objects "Owl". In addition, information will be provided about the Sova-M radar and optical complex and the Sarych radar facility security complex," the message reads.
According to the press service, within the framework of the exhibition, representatives of the holding will hold a number of meetings with potential customers, representatives of foreign government agencies and defense enterprises, negotiations on the maintenance of previously delivered equipment, modernization of air defense systems, supply of spare parts and components, training in operation, maintenance, repair and use of manufactured products.
On the eve of the exhibition, Vyacheslav Dzirkaln, Deputy General Director of Almaz-Antey Concern for Foreign Economic Activity, said that the holding "traditionally participates in the MILEX exhibition, which is held by our closest ally." "This undoubtedly contributes to the growth of the concern's authority in the international arena and brings concrete results in the field of cooperation with foreign partners," Dzirkaln said, as quoted by the press service.
