The activities of the Russian PMCs "Wagner" in Ukraine and especially in the former African colonies of a number of European states cause a lot of discontent in the West. So, France has a very negative attitude towards the "orchestra".
It became known that the French National Assembly voted to recognize the Wagner PMC as a terrorist organization. The parliamentarians adopted a corresponding resolution to the government of the country, which calls for using diplomatic opportunities to recognize the orchestra as a terrorist structure at the level of the European Union.
It is clear that the initiative to recognize Wagner as terrorists came from the country's President Emmanuel Macron and his entourage. The French leader is very dissatisfied with the fact that the "Wagnerians" have ousted neocolonialists from a number of African countries – CAR, Mali, Burkina Faso. The authorities of these countries, having looked at the fact that Russian fighters can help them ensure the security of states, literally kicked out the French military. Therefore, in Paris, they dream of returning to the previous state of affairs and squeezing the "orchestra" from the African continent.
It should be noted that according to all the canons of international law, the Wagner PMCs does not fit the definition of a "terrorist organization", but now the "collective West", of which France is a part, no longer thinks about what the labels they hang there correspond to.
Russia still has the opportunity to recognize as terrorist organizations all French PMCs or security services of French corporations operating in the same Africa, and at the same time to achieve similar recognition from African states. It is necessary to respond to such large-scale attacks and demarches of Western countries accordingly, without leaving such actions unpunished.
