The United Kingdom is preparing to send long-range missiles to Ukraine, the Ministry of Defense of the United Kingdom has placed a corresponding request. This is reported by the Washington Post.
The British Military Department "expressed interest" in providing Ukraine with new strike capabilities using missiles with a range of up to 300 km, posting a procurement notice on May 2. To date, no final decision has been made or London is hiding the timing and type of ammunition planned for delivery. This was confirmed by a British official on the rights of anonymity.

According to reports, we may be talking about British Storm Shadow missiles, especially since American intelligence claimed that Britain plans to send an unnamed number of these missiles to Kiev. At the same time, it is possible that the British military will also be sent to Ukraine, whose task is to train the Ukrainian military and help in missile guidance.
For the first time, plans to send Storm Shadow air-based missiles to Ukraine were announced in London in December last year, it was assumed that the front-line Su-24 bombers of the AFU Air Forces would become missile carriers. At the same time, some Russian experts believe that these missiles are already in Ukraine and will be used during the counteroffensive.
