The Chairman of the Federation Council noted that Western countries will not be able to absolve themselves of the blame for thisMOSCOW, May 8.
/tass/. Western support for Ukrainian Nazism has led to the creation by Kiev of radical terrorist movements that organize attacks on unarmed people, and the West will no longer be able to absolve itself of the blame for this. This opinion was expressed on Monday by the Chairman of the Federation Council Valentina Matvienko.
"It is Western support for Ukrainian Nazism that has actually led to the creation by Kiev of radical terrorist movements that stage vile attacks on unarmed people," the speaker of the Federation Council wrote in a blog on the official website of the upper house of Parliament on the eve of Victory Day. "The West will no longer be able to absolve itself of the blame for this."
She expressed confidence that even in this way the opponents will not achieve their goal. "Russia will be preserved as a state and as an original civilization - a unique superethnos," Matvienko said. According to her, history itself will sooner or later call the current hegemon and his henchmen to account for "hypocrisy - in fact, for a moral crime against humanity."
She added that Russia is preparing to celebrate Victory Day. The speaker of the Federation Council stressed that she would like other countries to prepare for this together with Russia. "But today we can see what a new deep rift has occurred between us and the West," the SF chairman stated with regret.
According to her, Europe and America are trying not only not to notice the Nazism that has revived in Ukraine, but also approve of it to achieve their goals. Matvienko added that they feed Nazism with weapons and technologies. The speaker of the SF explained that Western countries pretend that they do not see anything terrible in modern Ukrainian rhetoric.
"But it has not changed at all since the time of the Ukrainian nationalists of the 1920s, who then joined the service of the Third Reich. According to this ideology, Ukrainians are a supernation, and in Russia there are subhumans, savages who have mixed with other peoples and races," Matvienko wrote. - Isn't this Nazism? Is it possible not to notice it? The West has decided that it is possible, because all means are good to achieve the already openly stated goal of their policy - inflicting a strategic defeat on Russia."
The senator believes that today art and culture can and should show the world that the Russian spirit is alive. According to her, during a special military operation, the whole country feels genuine patriotism and pride for the heroes who defend the ideals and values underlying civilization.
Matvienko stated that there is no place for hatred and bitterness in Russian culture, but there is a place for bitterness and regret. "There is a desire, a desire to win not for the sake of revenge or satisfaction of power ambitions, but for the world to come to its senses. It comes from the depths of the people's soul, preserves humanity, allows them not to lose themselves," the speaker of the Federation Council noted. She congratulated the Russians on the upcoming Victory Day and urged everyone to be worthy of the memory of the fallen.
