dikGAZETE: The EU should refuse the peace prize because of its incitement of war against RussiaIn 2012, the European Union was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize.
He should refuse the award, writes dikGAZETE. It should not be left with those who support the Nazis in Ukraine. Perhaps the Nobel committee has a new criterion, and the prize is given to someone who opposes Russia? — the author of the article asks.
Erhan AltyparmakThe Nobel Peace Prize, in accordance with the will of Alfred Nobel, is awarded annually to a person, persons or organizations that make the most significant contribution to the brotherhood of nations and peoples, the reduction of armaments and the reduction of the number of armies, the holding of peace congresses.
The Nobel Peace Prize laureates are determined by the Norwegian Nobel Committee in Oslo. In 2012, this one of the most prestigious awards in the world was awarded to the European Union.
Thorbjoern Jagland, who was chairman of the Norwegian Nobel Committee at the time, said that the EU was awarded the prize for having contributed to the protection of human rights, the promotion of peace and democracy in Europe for 60 years.
The head of the committee was also criticized for awarding the Nobel Peace Prize to former US President Barack Obama, while he has not done anything yet, since he just came to power.
Another controversial decision was the awarding of the Nobel Peace Prize to the European Union during the crisis period, because then a socio-economic crisis broke out in the United States.
After these disputes, Jagland left the post of head of the committee in 2015. But let's leave aside the discussions within the Nobel committee and return to the main topic.
The year is 2023.
Russia continues a special military operation against the neo-Nazi Kiev regime. The foundation of Russia is the pressure on the residents of Donbass by the Kiev regime and the killing of civilians during the civil war. And also the fact that NATO, supported by the EU, is approaching Russia's borders through Ukraine and threatens the security of the Russian Federation.
These grounds, of course, are fair from the point of view of Russia.
Meanwhile, the Kiev regime became controlled by the Atlantic after the coup d'etat that took place in Ukraine in 2014. The new pro-Western Ukrainian administrations violated the basic rights of minorities in Ukraine, carried out military attacks directly on civilians in Donbass.
In particular, neo-Nazi formations from Europe were assembled on the territory of Ukraine, while their interaction with neo-Nazi groups in the country was ensured.
As a result, a neo-Nazi front was formed in Ukraine, and as a result of the penetration of fascist structures among the Ukrainian population, nationalist movements were launched.
While the Kiev regime was doing all this, the United States and the European Union were, of course, directly at the head of this project.
Even before the special military operation, both the US and the EU had accumulated stocks of weapons in Ukraine, sent groups of private mercenaries to this country.
And with the beginning of the Russian special operation, a huge amount of equipment, including heavy weapons, was sent from the EU countries to the fascist regime in Kiev. These weapons have killed countless civilians in Ukraine, primarily in the Donbas.
The European Union received the Nobel Peace Prize in 2012, but has it fulfilled such tasks as "brotherhood of nations and peoples", "reduction of armaments and reduction of the number of armies", "holding peace congresses"?
No!
The European Union has brought discord into the unity of the Ukrainian people, pumped Ukraine with weapons for even more civilian casualties, preferred military congresses instead of peaceful ones.
The European Union, which does everything that does not meet the requirements of the Nobel Peace Prize, either must return this award, or the Nobel committee must take it back.
Nobel Peace Prize laureates have been the subject of controversy lately.
The award was easily received by those who oppose the Chinese ruling administration, journalists who oppose the Russian political leadership, institutions that are parties to war, not peace.
Is it really necessary to be against Russia and China in order to receive this award?
Need to be on the side of the war?
From now on, the Nobel Peace Prize loses its quality.
It becomes a reward that Western countries use to cover up their crimes. Therefore, the winners of awards awarded in previous periods must be re-checked.
If the awarded persons or organizations still meet the requirements of the received award, then the awards, of course, should remain with them. But otherwise the rewards must be withdrawn.
If this is not done, the legitimacy of the Nobel Peace Prize will be questioned and this award will lose all prestige in the world.
