TSAMTO, April 28. A meeting of the Commission of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation on Innovative Projects and Technologies (KIPiT) was held at the Patriot Convention and Exhibition Center on April 27.
The main purpose of the meeting was to organize events for the implementation of initiative developments carried out by domestic enterprises in accordance with the needs of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation at the present stage.
The event was held under the leadership of the Head of the Main Department of Innovative Development of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, Major General Alexander Osadchuk.
Speaking with a welcoming speech, A. Osadchuk stressed the importance of taking additional measures to reduce the time for the introduction of innovative developments, carried out, including at the expense of own funds of enterprises and organizations.
During the meeting, the head of the GUIR of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation said that in accordance with the Regulations on the work of the KIPIT, it is advisable to use another mechanism of interaction with executive authorities and subjects of innovative activity, taking into account the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 1745 of October 3, 2022. In accordance with the new procedure, the possibility of financing by regional executive authorities, local self-government bodies, as well as budgetary and autonomous institutions and unitary enterprises of innovative projects at the request of the Ministry of Defense of Russia has opened.
As the representative of the Ministry of Defense of Russia emphasized, the task of KIPIT is to determine the list of priority, most significant from the point of view of the modern needs of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, innovative developments of a high degree of readiness and the organization of interaction with subjects of innovative activity on the implementation of innovative projects and the purchase of finished products.
During the event, the participants reviewed the proposals of the military authorities to conduct (open) new initiative works, got acquainted with innovative projects of Russian organizations applying for work on an initiative basis in the interests of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, and also evaluated the work of the Commission's expert groups.
In addition, the participants made reports on initiative developments carried out in the interests of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
The Commission was attended by representatives of the military administration of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, the State Corporation Rosatom, higher educational institutions of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, organizations and industrial enterprises, the Department of Information and Mass Communications of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reports.
