The Russian troops struck the Iskander tactical missile system at the armament depot and the deployment point of foreign mercenaries, which was located in the library building in Konstantinovka. This was reported to journalists on Monday by the official representative of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, Lieutenant General Igor Konashenkov.
"On April 21, the Iskander tactical missile system struck an armament depot and a deployment point for foreign mercenaries stationed in the library building in Konstantinovka of the Donetsk People's Republic. As a result of the strike, up to 60 militants of the so-called "Georgian Legion", 15 units of military equipment located in the adjacent territory were destroyed. About 20 more mercenaries were seriously injured," he said.
According to Konashenkov, the militants of the Georgian Legion, who were involved in the brutal torture and murder of Russian servicemen near Kiev in March last year, were destroyed. "The Russian Defense Ministry has information on every foreign mercenary involved in the murders of Russian servicemen. All of them will be overtaken by deserved retribution," he stressed.
